Nonetheless, as you can see here, I got him to agree to my next #glasswareexperiment. It takes an arrogant bastard to get through to an arrogant bastard. Today we have the Bastard in my #spiegelau #ipaglass, my @purebrewing snifter, my #teku glass, a balloon snifter, and a tulip pint. Of course, the IPA glass brought the hell out of the hop aroma, revealing this super heavy, floral & spicy aroma, almost pungent in character. The snifter showed off more malt with hints of caramel, toffee, bread, and spice. The Teku glass gave off bread & toffee with some sort of vanilla note. The other two glasses followed suit with the Teku glass. Taste-wise, they followed the same pattern of the nose with the IPA glass being a little hoppier, almost masking the malt a little bit. Overall, I'd say they best glass for this #beer was the #pureproject snifter, as it still brought out the hops, but it showcased a lot more malt to balance the aggressive hop profile. Now I gotta get back to finishing this beer.
