Goddess with newborn baby, early 2022. White earthenware with slip and glazes, baby unglazed with a glazed glassy red mouth to give contrast in texture. A red cord will attach the baby to the mother, bringing my other love, textiles, into my work.

Dough Loco
Dough Loco is a tiny donut shop on the Upper East side, just a few blocks away from Central Park. This is the first donut shop we’ve stated that gives Dough a run for its money. The donuts come in a variety of unique flavors including blood orange, lychee ginger and guava honey lemon to name a few.
Leslie’s Rating: 4 out of 5 Dough Donuts
Close but not cigar. I had had the blueberry donut and it gets points for being better than Elsie’s. It also gets points for the dough closely resembling Dough, however I literally got bored of eating it. It should never be hard to finish a donut.
Megan’s Rating: 5 out of 5 Dough Donuts
I had the maple donut. It was delicious! The dough base is thick and fluffy - very similar to Dough’s. The maple frosting was on point and reminded me of buttery pancakes topped with maple syrup.
