This week on Glee on the Rocks we're parsing one of the greatest questions of human history: are you a Katy or are you a Gaga? This is S5E4, "A Katy or a Gaga." Nationals is looming and the latest competition, Throat Explosion, are stepping on the New Directions' niche of being "outsiders." Instead of dividing the New Directions into boys and girls for this week's Glee Club lesson, Mr. Schue opts to separate them into "Katy Perrys" and "Lady Gagas" in order to push them out of their comfort zones. It makes sense in the episode…kind of.
Over in New York, Kurt Hummel is on a mission to get our of his own comfort zone and cross an item off his NYC bucket list by starting a band. Something he definitely has time for between work and classes. But the will the unforgettable and wildly talented Starchild (aka Adam Lambert) be too much for Kurt's ego to handle?
Also there's relationship drama, because of course there is.
