Mitch McConnell - BREAKING... oh never mind. It's just rumors. And more rumors. So here are the FACTS.

McConnell was last seen in the Senate on June 11th. On June 14th his office said that he had "gone to the hospital where he was receiving excellent care." The office declined to say which hospital he was in.

It did not come out until last week, when reporters got the audio of the emergency call, which said that McConnell had been found unconscious in his Townhouse on June 14, and received CPR for a possible "cardiac arrest".

He was taken to "a medical facility" - but we STILL do not know which one. His staff continues to say that he is "recovering nicely."

OK, first of all. You do not get CPR for being unconscious. You get CPR when you are dead. When your lungs are not breathing and your heart is not beating. Nobody said how long it was between the time he fell "unconscious," and someone found him "unconscious," and called an ambulance, and a couple of burly EMTs arrived did what was necessary to bring him BACK from death.

When it comes to old, frail people, CPR unfortunately usually involves breaking every bone in their rib cage, according to a big burly EMT neighbor of mine. If he survived THAT, then when he arrived at the hospital, the doctors not only had to stabilize him, they STILL had to deal with the conditions brought on by the "possible cardiac arrest" or whatever ELSE it was that killed him in the first place.

But he's "recovering nicely". So says his Senate staff, who said June 22 that he was "working on Senate business" but was not yet ready to return to the Senate. Their latest statement is that "The Senator continues to improve, and is working closely with his staff on Kentucky and Senate matters while the Senate is out of session."

But that was not enough for People Who Have Questions. So today, Tuesday, there was a whole FLURRY of official statements from Republicans.

Senate President John Thune says he spoke with McConnell Monday - a "lengthy and substantive conversation that covered a variety of topics, including national security," according to Thune's spokesman.

Senate Republican Whip John Barrasso's spokesperson said that Barrasso and McConnell discussed "a number of topics, including national defense spending," during a 20-minute phone conversation on Tuesday afternoon.

And there was a post on X from a former adviser of his, Scott Jennings, who is now a conservative pundit on CNN and loses debates to young Democrats like Adam Mockler. Badly.

"I spoke to my old friend Mitch McConnell this morning.. He’s still recovering in the hospital. We talked for just shy of 20 minutes … about IRAN, UKRAINE, the unfolding situation in MAINE, my visit to the TR Presidential Library, and even a little bit of Senate history..."

Wow. So much talking. Each call lasting 20 minutes. Pretty good for an 84 year old guy who very likely has crushed ribs. And who already had lung issues - he was hospitalized in February for "flu-like" symptoms.

Meanwhile, all this time, his wife, Trump's former Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, has been in China on "a philanthropic trip," which included a meeting with Chinese Vice President Han Zheng. She left the USA on June 12, and returned TODAY, Tuesday, July 7.

So she left two days before her husband was "found unconscious."

And she did not rush home to be at his side.

Why? According to a FOX News report, she "did not see a need for an immediate return." FOX found that totally reasonable.

Well, even though his hospital trip was so trivial that his wife did not rush home to be with him and oversee his care, and even though SO many upright, honest Republicans say they have spoken with him, STILL, there has been a great deal of speculation that McConnell has died, or is brain dead and on life support.

There is also speculation that his death might have been covered up, so that the Democratic Governor of Kentucky, Andy Bershear, could not appoint a Democrat to fill is seat in the Senate.

However, it does not work that way in Kentucky. Under a law updated in 2024, a U.S. Senate vacancy must be filled through a special election called by the governor, rather than by an appointment - in this case the election would be between the two candidates who won their primaries in May, Democrat Charles Booker and Republican Andy Barr.

And the quickest a governor could call an election is "63 days after the vacancy occurs". Which would bring us to the middle of September, and the winner would only serve out the rest of McConnell's term, to the beginning of January.

And meanwhile the winner presumably would not be able to run in the midterms in November for a full term.

And where would Thomas Massie fit into all of this, if he is planning to run as an Independent? Trump really, REALLY hates HIM. He co-sponsored the Bill that made releasing the Epstein Files LAW - a law that Trump's Attorney General Todd Blanche STILL refuses to follow.

So, the question is, who is most likely to win the midterm election, and would stalling things until then be worthwhile, for the kind of shenanigans that would be involved in covering up a death?

Apparently, the only folks who would know, are not very likely to tell us.

OH. MY. GOD. You HAVE to watch this 7 minute NBC Meet The Press clip.

Before he walked out of the interview, Trump was totally out of control - he was leaning forward with his hands out like he wanted to throttle Kristen Welker. He called her dirty and crooked multiple times, along with Meet the Press and NBC.

HE SAID COPS WERE DIRTY - and it sounded like he meant ALL cops are dirty. He said the Capitol Police were dirty. He said that the FBI was dirty.

He was screaming about Comey being in charge of the FBI during the J6 Insurrection, when Comey had been FIRED for FOUR years - Trump had named a NEW Director, and HE and WRAY had been in charge of the FBI for those FOUR YEARS.

Comey was nowhere around. And Biden had not even taken office yet. So NOBODY ordered hundreds of FBI agents to "lead innocent tourists" into the Capitol and start a riot. NOBODY ordered FBI agents to beat up fellow COPS.

UNLESS, of course, it was TRUMP AND WRAY who ordered the FBI to ramp things up, in order to stop the Certification of the Election, and stage a coup to keep Trump in office. But NAH, they wouldn't do a thing like THAT.

I mean, even though he does seem to project all his OTHER schemes onto Democrats....

Trump STILL wants to pay off the J6 insurrectionists. Even though his AG, Todd Blanche, is furiously denying that the $1.8 BILLION J6 Slush will go forward, Trump refused in this interveiw to back down from it.

And said something telling. He named HIMSELF among those who were "victimized" by *ahem* "Sleepy Joe" Biden (really, Donnie?) He obviously wants that money for HIMSELF.

And he insisted, AGAIN, that he "won in a landslide" in 2020, but that the election was "rigged" against him.

AGAIN people. HE was President, and had been in charge for FOUR YEARS.

WHO, exactly, COULD have rigged a NATIONWIDE election???

And he claimed AGAIN that he had EVIDENCE. Well, where is it? Since he was re-elected, he has had a year and a half to produce any NEW evidence. He hasn't. There ISN'T any. There never WAS. After the 2020 election, WHILE HE WAS STILL PRESIDENT, his lawyers, like Rudy, brought 64 challenges before the courts - and LOST every single one.

And he keeps blaming "The Weaponized Biden DOJ". A REMINDER. The DOJ prosecutes and defends cases. BUT a Judge, or panel of Judges, or a Jury DECIDES the case, and determines GUILT. NOT THE DOJ. Juries are made up of independent CITIZENS, and the DOJ can challenge the seating of ANY of the members. And Judges, as we have seen, seldom rule politically. Even TRUMP appointed Judges have ruled against him, and his followers, and his schemes.

Trump's AG, Todd Blanche, is realizing this at last. He is in real trouble. He and Bondi are BOTH not only in danger of being disbarred, but of facing charges for their actions as Attorneys General. Sure. You can weaponize the DOJ. But that is illegal. And they will personally pay for it.

Trump, though, ignores all of this. It is obvious that he BELIEVES the venom he is literally spitting. He has well and truly lost his mind.

All he wants to do anymore is redecorate, and glorify himself, and steal money any way he can. He does not even bother to hide it anymore. He can't. He does not have the capacity to even ACT in a sane matter any more.

Gotta hand it to Kristen Welker. She sat there calmly responding to his lunatic ravings and personal attacks without flinching. Now THAT is a professional journalist. THAT is the American Free Press, the BEST in the world.

Oh by the way. Speaking of his handlers. They insisted on the interview happening in a barn with a tin roof. During a heavy rainstorm. That is all the noise you hear in the background.

And yes, Kristen Welker came to WISCONSIN to do the interview at TRUMP'S CONVENIENCE.

Maybe he was in a foul mood because the turnout for his "Farmer's Roundtable" was tiny and the participants were not enthusiastic. But then he had kept them waiting over an hour hoping more people would show up.

After he walked out of the interview, he went straight to his Bedminster golf resort in New Jersey. His favorite lawyer, Alina Habba posted a video of his arrival, with the words, "Welcome Home, POTUS."

Um. Since when is Bedminster his home? Or hers?

OMG. This is what the Ellipse looks like after thousands of MAGA folks watched the UFC birthday cage fights on big screens, and had a few beer-fueled fights of their own. Beyond the Ellipse is the front lawn of the White House, also stripped of grass. Repairs to just the front lawn were estimated to cost us $770,000. Now.... who knows what it will cost us to restore BOTH?

We, of course, also have the Reflecting Pool to repair. Kiss the $14 million we spent on THAT goodbye. Trump has now decided that "vandals" must be blamed, and has ordered for them to be arrested. There are none. His hydrogen peroxide fix is the culprit. It is a paint stripper. But sure enough, an former 3 time Olympian who reached down from his bike to touch one of the paint strips was tackled and arrested for vandalism to satisfy the Vandal-In-Chief.

And then there is the Kennedy Center. Trump has NOT turned it over to Congress. His appointed board remains in place, so that the tarp covering his removed name stays in place. Oh. And even though the judge ordered the Center re-opened, his board is preventing any acts from being booked. Making sure the Center continues to lose money, so that it costs US money, instead.

Meanwhile, he unveiled his Qatar jet yesterday. The BILLION DOLLAR upgrade WE paid for is complete. We found out we ALSO paid for the huge new hangar that houses it. He bragged that it is the most luxurious airplane in the entire world. And he gets to keep it when he leaves as a gift to his "Presidential Library". Obama didn't have a jet when he opened HIS Library Friday. Trump wins. Yay.

Oh and today he filed another request to the judge who stopped the above ground construction of his ballroom, detailing all the features that really make it a National Security fortress rather than a ballroom, complete with drone ports, and anti-drone weapons, and sniper nests. Because - gee, didn't we see this coming? - there was JUST another "assassination attempt" the FBI thwarted, that involved DRONES. So there you go.

See? National Security. Now we HAVE to pay for it. Just think. Trump could have had his UFC fight in SAFETY. INDOORS, in the ballroom. Of course, his thousands of MAGA fans would still have been on the Ellipse outside, in the open. But who cares about THEIR safety?

Not him. He doesn't care about us, either, or what anything COSTS us. He said so. Out loud.

By the way. Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz again. The peace talks are off again. The Stock Market will fall again. Oil will rise again. No biggie. Trump has more important things to think about. His Pool. His Plane. His Ballroom. His planned elevated Trump Promenade to his huge new Arch de Trump.

A new report from that upcoming book says that his favorite hobby these days is taking anything gold that he finds around the White House to decorate his bedroom, so that it is fancier than Melania's. He even takes things from her room to his. Or to the Oval Office. Staff often walks in to find him personally super-gluing more gold things he's ordered, at our expense, to the walls.

But soon Trump will have more important things to do. It's about time for him to bring out the gold striped umbrellas and open up his Club Rose Garden concrete patio for the Season so he can throw exclusive parties for his donors and GOP politicians. It's all about elegance. And taste. And Priorities.

Like his priority to headline his State Fair rally next week. And then, the week after, to take over our 4th of July Celebration and Fireworks for HIS greatest MAGA Rally of all time ...

BREAKING - both the SENATE and HOUSE just abruptly SHUT DOWN early for their Memorial Day recess. They will not reconvene until sometime in JUNE. No date was given.

There will be NO VOTE on Trump's $1.776 BILLION "Justice" fund, no vote on the Reconciliation budget bill to fund ICE and DHA, no vote on the Ballroom, and no vote on the Iran war, or any other "excursions" Trump might be planning for Cuba and Greenland.

Meidas Touch reports that the Senate just had a 2 hour meeting with AG Todd Blanche that involved "screaming and yelling." with more than a 25 senators speaking. It ended with John Thune recessing the Senate. Immediately after, the House cancelled a similar meeting, and Mike Johnson recessed the House as well.

All hell is apparently breaking loose in the Republican party.

UPDATE ON MY IRAN POST: 5:30 pm ET. You never know WHAT is going to turn everything upside-down these days. Well, today, it was Melania Trump. Who called a Press Conference, ALL on her own, this afternoon. She undid Trump's ENTIRE Grand Plan to permanently bury the Epstein Files, by demanding a Congressional Investigation to hear from the victims. Here is Trump's Grand Plan, which involved the murders of thousands - perhaps millions - of people, the plundering and extortion of entire nations, the sidelining of political rivals, and oh yes, the distraction from the Epstein Files while his flunky closed the whole case down. I wrote this earlier today, at noon. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Hello friends. It is noon, Thursday, as I start writing this post. I've spent all morning reading news reports and watching podcasts and videos, to wrap my head around EVERYTHING that is happening, so I can condense it all in plain and straight-forward words. It all connects. It is all related. The bullshit level is off the charts. We all get that. But the FACTS come down to this: 1. Trump was looking for a way to stop the Epstein Investigation in its tracks, and divert ALL the attention away from him. 2. Trump was looking for his next Venezuela - to expand his conquest of the world for money and for his ego. Which is basically the same thing to him. He sees financial figures on a tally sheet exactly the same way as he views poll numbers, as proof to the world he is a "winner". More importantly, as proof to the elite people he wants to impress that he is as good as them. And most importantly, as proof to himself- he is the most insecure man on the planet, and needs constant validation. Every single moment of every single day. 3. Trump wanted to sideline JD Vance, who, from the beginning, was groomed by the billionaire Project 2025 cabal to be their Crown Prince, their puppet avatar. Trump, paranoid because of his insecurity issues, knows that the cabal WANTS JD Vance to replace him BEFORE 2028. Trump knew that the Epstein scandal most probably would result in evidence that would justify either impeachment or replacement by the 25th Amendment. And so, Trump knew that he could achieve all three goals with the successful "takeover" of Iran. He could strengthen his own position as a "winner." He could sideline JD Vance and elevate Marco Rubio as his right-hand man and successor. And he could divert our attention from the Epstein Files. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . SO. Here is the sequence of events.

Before Trump began his assault on Iran, he fired Attorney General Pam Bondi. Bondi was about to be forced to testify about her coverup of the Files. He shoved her Deputy, Todd Blanche, his personal lawyer in the Stormy Daniels case, into the AG chair.

Blanche immediately did two things. First, he announced that ALL the Files had been released and there would be no further action on the Epstein case. It was over and done. And second, he said that Pam Bondi would no longer have testify before Congress, because she was no longer AG.

Bada-bing, bada-boom. Done. Trump wins.

Yeah, right. Not so fast, Sport. The Congressional Committee had DELIBERATELY not subpoenaed Bondi in her capacity as AG. They had subpoenaed her PERSONALLY. The bi-partisan Committee says they are going to bring charges of Contempt of Congress against her if she refuses to testify.

And no. Neither they nor anybody else is buying the lie that the Files have ALL been released under the order of the LAW passed by Congress. Half of them remain unreleased. That is well documented.

And so, the first part of his plan quickly collapsed. This will not hold. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Trump immediately moved on to the second part of his plan.

Netanyahu provided this, in its entirety. He arranged a slick, entertaining video with lots of things blowing up. He knows EXACTLY that THIS is how Trump insists on getting national security "briefings" every day.

Somehow, he got invited by Trump to put on his presentation IN THE SITUATION ROOM of the White House. How? Maybe he talked Trump into it. More likely, maybe he got Lindsey Graham or Jared Kushner or Steve Witkoff to whisper in his eager little ear.

Eight weeks ago, on Wednesday, February 11, according to an explosive report in the New York Times, the Israeli presentation took place. Trump did NOT sit at the head of the table, as was usual, but on the SIDE of the table, facing the huge screens on the wall. Netanyahu sat across from him, right in front of the screens. The videos opened and closed with his top officials appearing to stand behind him, surrounding him with powerful people.

The video began. Israel would target the top leadership of Iran with drone attacks, killing ALL of them.

America would target Iran's ballistic missile system, destroying all their military capability within days.

Israeli Mossad intelligence agents embedded in Iran would lead an uprising of Iranian citizens in the streets.

These Iranian citizens would be quickly armed by Kurdish fighters from Iraq, who would invade Iran from the Northwest. They would bring guns and ammunition provided to the Kurds by America in advance of the operation.

The war would be over within days or weeks, Trump would appoint a new leader, and the Iranian people would worship Trump, their savior. While Trump took their oil and their uranium and made lots and LOTS of money.

Trump nodded and said to Netanyahu, "Sounds good to me." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Trump invited only his most loyal people to that presentation. Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff were there. Pete Hegseth and Joint Chiefs General Dan Razin' Caine were there. CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Susie Wiles, Trump's Chief of Staff were there. And so was Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

You know who WASN'T there? Vice President JD Vance. JD had been sent by Trump to Azerbaijan on some mission or other, and was "stuck" there, not even able to get first hand information about what was going on. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The next day, the participants gathered again in The Room Where It Happened to discuss Netanyahu's presentation.

CIA Director John Ratcliffe called it "Farcial".

Marco Rubio went further, calling it "Bullshit".

Even "Razin' Caine" was doubtful. "This, in my experience, is standard operating procedure for the Israelis," he said. "They oversell. And their plans are not always well-developed. They know they need us, and that is why they are hard selling."

War games run in the region had already shown there could be unintended consequences. Most likely, the Strait of Hormuz could end up closed, and cause an international economic crisis.

But Pete Hegseth was just raring to go. He swept aside all caution, with his passionate Warrior ethos crap.

Naturally, Trump appeared most swayed by his opinion. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

On Thursday, February 26th, six weeks ago, there was a final meeting in the Situation Room. The New York Times documented it.

Marco Rubio was still doubtful about whether regime change was possible, but he did believe that destroying Iran's ballistic missiles and military capability was "achievable".

Pete Hegseth was still raring to go and urged "immediate action."

THIS TIME, JD Vance was included. He tried to talk Trump out of it, warning Trump that things could spiral and drain US military resources. But in the end, ever pragmatic, ever chameleon-like, he knew he had to save his own ass.

"You know I think this is a bad idea," he told Trump. "But I'll support you."

And Trump said, "I think we need to do it." . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

We all saw what happened next. Israel took out the Regime's leaders, all right, but then they kept going. Nobody really knows who is running things right now. The only "voice" is from its military leaders. The new Supreme Leader has been reported as severely wounded by the attacks, and even unconscious. (Update: someone claiming to be him made public statements in Iran this afternoon)

But the military leaders who have been making all the statements up to this point do not appear to be united. There are apparently different factions involved in the decision making.

Meanwhile, Parts 3 and 4 of Netanyahu's plan never happened. The people of Iran did NOT rise up. Maybe they lost trust in Trump. And the Kurds never showed up to arm them. They stayed in Iraq and THEY KEPT THE GUNS for themselves. Probably as payback for Trump betraying them during his last term. Betrayal has consequences.

So Trump was desperate. He had already made a whole SERIES of ultimatums to Iran, and had been forced to walk them all back. There was no way to walk back from Tuesday's annihilation threat - a nuke threat that everybody understood - without appearing weak. Without making a fool of himself in front of the whole world.

With an hour and a half to go, Iran put forth 10 ridiculous demands. Including that it would have sole control the Strait of Hormuz and charge a $2 million fee to every ship. Trump grabbed it. He grabbed total surrender to Iran, and called it a "victory".

When Republican leaders finally saw the conditions that Trump said were "workable" they were HORRIFIED. The backlash from them and from every podcaster and pundit on the planet hit Trump hard.

Karoline Leavitt put "those lips" on overdrive, insisting that the list was "fake." That it was not the REAL list. That it was a previous list that Trump had "thrown in the trash."

But when she refused to reveal WHAT was in the "real" list, THAT didn't pass the smell test with anybody. So she pivoted, and said that this was only a "preliminary list", a "framework", a "wish list", and that the REAL deal would be hammered out in negotiations over the next "two weeks".

WHO would do the negotiations? NOT JD VANCE, said Karoline. Definitely not. Absolutely not. Trump would send his OWN team. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Uh huh. Well now. Here we are a day later. And JD Vance WILL be doing the negotiations.

Pakistan is arranging everything for this weekend's meeting. They have already cordoned off a 5-star hotel in Islamabad for a two mile radius, and kicked everybody out.

Trump is also sending Jared and Steve Witkoff, of course, but JD Vance is most definitely in charge.

Israel appears to have been left out of the negotiations with Iran completely. At least for right now. However, Netanyahu said this morning that he is seeking to have direct negotiations with Lebanon.

But the ceasefire has already collapsed, since Israel continues to attack both Lebanon and Iran. Iran has once again closed the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump is continuing to bluster and strut around like a rooster - but his hens have all flown the coop. He posted all night, non stop. Railing against NATO, then begging them to come up with a plan. Whining, "Remember Greenland, that big poorly run chunk of ice" at 1:30 am.

He posted this morning that all our military will remain in place while "the REAL AGREEMENT is reached, and if it isn't the "Shootin' starts, bigger, better and stronger than anyone has ever seen before." In the meantime, his military will be "looking forward actually to its next Conquest."

"NEXT CONQUEST"? Trump already has MORE wars planned?

Of course he does. All young men will be automatically registered for the draft starting in December, and he and Hegseth just raised the age limit on recruitment to 42. Gotta get that cannon fodder restocked for their "Donroe Doctrine" plans.

And besides, he still needs distraction from the Epstein Files. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

New poll numbers out today show that support of Trump by both young people and Hispanics is now in the 20s. Its in the low 30s for the rest of us.

Most former MAGA influencers have turned on Trump. There is even some rank breaking among the Republican politicians.

But this morning, Democrats introduced legislation for both impeachment and to take back their War Powers from the president, and both were ignored by Mike Johnson, who refused to bring them to the floor of the House for a vote.

3:40 pm Eastern time - AND THERE IS BREAKING NEWS -

MELANIA is denying a report by the New York Times linking her to Jeffrey Epstein. She wants CONGRESS to HOLD HEARINGS ON THE EPSTEIN FILES FOR THE VICTIMS.

CNN: "That call for action directly undercut ongoing messaging from her husband and the West Wing, renewing attention on a topic that was fading from public discourse amid the war with Iran. President Donald Trump and his top lieutenants have sought to downplay Epstein and his victims, repeatedly and publicly stating that the country is ready to move on."

Melania also deliberately threw Donald Trump right under the bus, saying she only went to Epstein's parties because "my husband made me."

Later this afternoon, reporter Jacqueline Alemany from MSNow finally got Trump on the phone. He was flustered, and sounded angry, she says, and told her he was in the middle of a "war meeting" and couldn't talk. But he DID say in response to her question that he had NO idea Melania was going to do this, and then said "she didn't know him" and hung up.

It needs to be remembered that the protests that sent Trump scurrying to the safety of his bunker under the East Wing during his first term, were because of George Floyd's murder by police in - wait for it - Minneapolis, Minnesota.

That bunker - and its demolition, and the building of a NEW upscale one, under a palatial state ballroom with HIS name on it, has been uppermost on Trump's mind since Day One.

He wanted to erase the memory of that bunker. And he has wanted to erase the protesters who sent him there.

What was primary focus of his ENTIRE new administration? No, not saving money. Or even purging "disloyal" workers. The slashing in every department seemed totally UN-focused, purging friend and foe alike and cutting even necessary programs.

It was all a smokescreen to distract us from his PRIMARY focus - to eliminate DEI - to scrub every person from every website and memorial site and museum site who was BLACK. To turn the very purpose of DEI upside-down and and weaponize it AGAINST Black people. To now claim that DEI was illegal, because it discriminated against WHITE men.

Trump could now not only DENY equal rights to Black people, he could now go after any program that GAVE them equal rights.

Trump sent his forces into one Democrat led city after another - cities with large Black populations - trying to get a violent response. When it didn't happen, he lied and said that "rioters" and "domestic terrorists" were "burning them to the ground".

That still did not get the violent response he wanted.

When the "No Kings" protesters marched in every city in America, he put out a video of himself wearing a crown, dumping his sh!t over them.

That still did not get a violent response. It did, however, get him the ridicule he deserved for acknowledging the protests were happening - and that they were HUGE!

We continued to ridicule every effort he made. We wore inflatable costumes, and danced in the street, and put up mocking statues, and bought whistles.

And now he has his forces out in Minneapolis Minnesota. Trying to light the fuse for a riot that will give him the excuse to take over the city he hates the most.

Trump and his pet chameleon JD Vance have been trying to stoke fear and anger against Black immigrants, even before the election, with "They're eating the Dogs, They're eating the Cats" lies. Hoping the fear and anger would be extended towards ALL people of color.

Most of the 36 countries Trump has banned from immigrating here, even traveling to America for business or tourism, are in Africa, or are countries with large Black populations.

He is revoking refugee status and "reviewing" green cards of people from these countries.

And he is not just dog whistling to his base any more. He is spewing his racism straight out and unfiltered on Truth Social and in his speeches. The language he is now using about Somalis in Minnesota is unforgivable - lies from the President of the United States, with the intention to incite violence.

But the violence is not happening.

WHY? Because Americans know that is what Trump wants, so he can turn his military against US, the people of America who won't bow to him.

The Black people of America wisely figured this out FIRST. They stepped back, and helped the REST of their neighbors learn to deal with the national menace that is Trump.

The people of Minneapolis in particular have been actively preparing for today. They have held training sessions, from Trump's first day in office, on how to safely protest, how to de-escalate situations, and how to be EFFECTIVE.

They show up and melt away to someplace else. They make a lot of noise to confuse and distract and intimidate, and then disperse. They get in the way. They rearrange stuff to block things off.

They make the armed, masked forces look ridiculous. And they video everything in sight.

Does this have a bigger impact than rioting would? ABSOLUTELY.

It accomplishes the same thing without endangering lives. It shows them we are not afraid of them and will not be intimidated. It makes the masked forces LOOK like the bad guys they are. And most importantly, it ROBS Trump of his excuse to put entire cities under his direct control.

The people of Minnesota are doing what the people of Portland, and Washington DC, and Los Angeles have done. They are making their voices heard loud and clear without giving Trump what he WANTS, an excuse.

They are keeping their city safe and intact. They are doing the best they can to protect their own. They are using the LAW as their shield and their sword.

Because we HAVE to do this by Constitutional means, or our Constitution means NOTHING. We must do this by living our values, or our VALUES mean nothing.

We have won every time an enemy stronger than America has tried to vanquish our country. Even when our country was split in two, and we fought against each other, the side standing for our Constitution rights, freedoms and responsibilities prevailed.

We must hold on to that. We must hold on to each other - especially our minority neighbors, family, coworkers and friends targeted by Trump - who he is trying to wipe out.

This is not about politics. It is not about religion, or ANY kind of beliefs at all. It is certainly not about patriotism, if it would turn our own military on our own people, and destroy our own cities.

Breaking: The Senate pulled an all-nighter, finally passing the $70 Billion reconciliation bill 52-47, to fund DHS/ICE. This was left out of the Budget Bill over a month ago, to be funded separately.

Republicans ALSO managed to pass TRUMP'S J6 PAYOFF Slush Fund so that he can reward the convicted domestic terrorist/insurrectionist gang members who attacked our Capitol, and its police, and threatened our elected officials in an attempt to stop the certification of the 2020 election, and stage a coup to keep Trump in power.

Trump's slush fund will also allow these convicted violent gang members to rebuild their "militias" to again, to "stand back and stand by" should they be called to act outside of the law again.

And that tells us everything we need to know about the "patriotism" of Republicans, and their defense of democracy, the Constitution, and the rule of Law.

This needs to be remembered. Trump had been president for FOUR YEARS. He lost the election in November of 2020, but he remained IN POWER until January 20, 2021.

The 2020 election happened on HIS WATCH. HE had been in office for four years, and every official in his cabinet, the military, and the FBI, had been appointed BY HIM. So had the head of the US Post Office, who removed neighborhood postal boxes in Democrat and minority neighborhoods, and curtailed hours and locations for ballot drop offs, and even removed high speed sorting machines to slow the mail down.

That Trump claims election interference is ludicrous. He is blaming HIMSELF.

The January 6th Insurrection happened on HIS WATCH. He claims the FBI had "hundreds" of agents in the crowd to incite and lead them into committing violence. BUT HE appointed the Director of the FBI, and its Deputy Director.

The FBI answered to HIM. This is ludicrous. He is blaming HIMSELF.

The National Guard did not respond to the insurrection. He blamed Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who had no authority over the National Guard. Vice President Mike Pence tried to order in the National Guard as he hid in the tunnels from chants of "hang Mike Pence". But the Trump's Pentagon refused to allow Maryland's and Virginia's National Guard to cross into DC.

Again, ludicrous. He is blaming HIMSELF.

Obama had been out of office for FOUR YEARS.

Bill Clinton had been out of office for TWELVE Years.

Hillary Clinton had NEVER been in office.

And Joe Biden was not in office YET. Not until January 20, 2021.

TRUMP HAS NOBODY TO BLAME BUT HIMSELF.

Trump may or may not last past this term, or even until this term ends. But every single Republican needs to know this: when his political career ends, so does YOURS.

It is time to desert the sinking ship. What Project 2025 had planned will not happen now. What has already happened will be overturned. New safeguards will be put in place to prevent it happening again.

You may never hold office again, but at least you might escape prison for your lawlessness and insurrection and corruption.

None of us are buying Trump's lies any more. Not even the MAGA influencers. This is your last chance to escape the consequences of what you have done.

You have nobody to blame but YOURSELVES.

He hates us all. He looks like hell. He sounds like hell. And he is mad as hell - using BOTH definitions of the word.

He reportedly lost it when his FIFA team lost, and never got it back.

Right now he is at the NATO Summit in Turkey, which started Tuesday and ends today, Wednesday, where he is making it all about HIM.

Where he is demanding that NATO force Denmark to turn Greenland over to him. Where he sexually insulted Italy's leader. Where he said, “I don’t want anything to do with Spain. Cut off all trade with Spain, including visits."

Where he is whining the NATO countries did not join his aggression against Iran, saying, "I spoke to Germany, I spoke to France, I spoke to UK, I spoke to Italy," he said. "They were not there for us." Ignoring the FACT that joining in on aggression is NOT part of the NATO pact. NATO responds ONLY when a member nation is ATTACKED.

Where he is complaining that NATO countries “have not treated us right, we been treated unfairly; we pay disproportionately.” Trump demands that all NATO countries pay 5% of their GDP. The US only pays 3.2%. SIX NATO countries pay MORE than us. Including Denmark.

Where he has been bragging non-stop that he ended 8 wars. He did not. And now he cannot even remember the names of the countries he has been rattling off. He has difficulty even bringing up one or two, before sputtering to an enraged stop.

So, instead, he restarted his OWN war. Iran.

Over the past couple of days, Iran IRGC boats fired on three tankers that were not obeying its instructions on which route to use in the Strait of Hormuz.

So Trump put the US sanctions back on Iran's oil and petrochemicals, and revoked the oil export license issued by the US Treasury that allowed them to MAKE those sales.

Which is something he never should have given them in the first place until the USA got something substantial in return - at LEAST the unrestricted re-opening of the Strait of Hormuz.

But, whatever, doing something rational was not enough for Trump. He had to take it further. He had to take his rage out on SOMEONE.

US Central Command said Tuesday night that US strikes Trump ordered hit 80 targets, including Iranian air defense systems, command-and-control networks, coastal radar sites, anti-ship missile weapons and more than 60 small boats used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Iran’s paramilitary force.

But even THAT was not enough to calm him down.

Trump told reporters Wednesday that the ceasefire is "over."

"I don't want to deal with them anymore, they're scum! You know what scum is? They're scum, they're sick people. They're led by sick people, and they're vicious, violent, and if they had a nuclear weapon, they'd use it. As far as I'm concerned, it's over," he ranted.

The MOU negotiations have been paused during the funeral of the Supreme Leader Ayatollah and his family members, who were killed on the first day of the attack on Iran by the US and Israel. The funeral ends Thursday.

The reporters asked Trump if he would allow the MOU negotiations to continue. Trump said the negotiators from Pakistan and Qatar were "good people" but that for him, "I think it is over."

"They'll have to come back to me. As far as I'm concerned, it's just a waste of time dealing with them. They're liars."

SO. If he is saying the ceasefire is over, and negotiations are over, and he has re-started the war with Iran, it should be time for CONGRESS to be involved, right? That is their JOB, under the Constitution.

But NO. The Senate and House BOTH voted to take back their war powers. But then, Trump's people bullied two of the Republican Senators who voted against him into reversing their votes.

Trump retains sole authority to do whatever the hell he wants.

When will enough be enough for Republicans to realize they are not only destroying our national security in every way, for their own PERSONAL GAIN, but that in doing so, they are destroying THEMSELVES as well? They will NEVER get what the power they think they are going to get. The power he promises them.

Trump is TRUMP. Everything he promises is a lie. Everything he gets control of, he takes what he wants up front, and then runs it into the ground and walks away, leaving everyone else holding the bag, paying the price, and cleaning up his mess.

Just like his Crypto investors. His cell phone investors. His DC "project" investors.

Europe has realized that. This NATO Summit will be the final straw. Trump did nothing to strengthen it. Instead he attacked it with childish rants and tantrums, spending more time on Truth Social, posting, posting and posting trivial CRAP, than talking with THEM.

They are now in private talks to form their OWN alliance. Other countries, like Canada, are indicating they want to join in.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East, the Arab nations, INCLUDING Iran, are in talks to create a new alliance of their own.

BOTH alliances excluding the United States of America. BOTH having the potential to create two NEW Superpowers. And leaving the United States NO LONGER a Superpower.

China would love that. So would Russia. Trump has made enemies of our friends, because he thinks our enemies ARE our friends. They are not. They most assuredly are NOT.

But why does he think this way? Because with our NATO allies, everything is above board, and he has to follow the rules, and there is nothing in it PERSONALLY for HIM.

With dictators and royals and oligarchs, well, that is quite a different thing.

Thanks to the Republican Party's greedy support of Donald J Trump, THIS is where we are. He could NOT have done it alone. This is the doing of Republican leaders like Mitch McConnell, and their Billionaire DONORS, from Steve Bannon's Cambridge Analytica project, bankrolled by the Mercer Family, and the Tea Party bankrolled by the Koch Brothers, to the Project 2025 conspirators, Stephen Miller and Howard Lutnick and Russell Vought, bankrolled by Peter Thiel and the Tech/Crypto Bros. - and of course, Elon Musk.

None of this was for US. It was NEVER for us. It was always for THEM. For THEIR power. For THEIR money. For THEIR Empire.

To them, we are pawns. Serfs. Cannon fodder. Suckers. The "unwashed masses" used and manipulated by EVERY authoritarian system, no matter if they are called Royalty or Fascists or Communists - or CORPORATIONS.

We all know what our rights working for a Corporation are. THAT is the model for America's future government put forth by ALL of the above. THAT is what they think Donald Trump will give them.

Hell. Hell right here on earth.

Look at him. Look at ALL of them. THIS is America's true enemy.
