As much as Quinn was wrong in S3 EP 2 of Glee I don't think Will had any right to talk to her that way.
He was being hella aggressive and could have said what he wanted to much better. Also telling Quinn she has to stop playing the victim? Will let's Rachel play victim almost whenever and get away with it but when Quinn is being manipulated into making a video for Sue's campaign Will actually says something? I hate how this show constantly tries so hard to make Quinn the villain like yeah she has her moments but so does every other character yet Quinn has it so bad compared to Rachel or Santana.
Will sucks and although he clearly loves his students, after all of the shit he let's pass and how he talked to Quinn he shouldn't have been a teacher.
Oh let's not forget how Glee tries to get us to like Will and root for him into making him seem like a victim and a good guy even though he has cheated on Emma, ruined her relationships and treats her like shit sometimes.
I don't understand how Will lets Rachel get away with sending someone to a cr@ckh0use and has let her act way more childish than Quinn but when Quinn, someone who is actually hurt and probably has trauma from the stuff she has been through e.g. her father guilt tripping her, her mom not standing up for her, having a baby, putting said baby up for adoption and straight up just having a crappy year, shes punished?
Rachel will act like a brat if she doesn't even get one solo yet Will let's her act like that (except for one time but she still continued her behaviour 🙄)
Also I hate how Will only seems to punish or gets mad at those who stand up to him or reject his ideas like that one time Kurt wanted New Directions to perform Britney Spears songs and spoke up to Will for how wrong he was to not perform Britney because of his biases and although yes Kurt could have said things better I think this really shows how shit Will is of a teacher. He sent Kurt to the office but not any of the kids who physically fought each other, the kids who slushied New Directions and he didn't do a lot when Rachel sent someone to a cr@ckh0use except scorned her.
The more I rewatch this series the more I realize how in the wrong Will is and it's sad because i feel like in the beginning he was kind of in the right but later on hes just a total jerk to his students and others around him.
I like characters that have faults but I don't like how this behavior never seems to be called out and when it is they paint the person who tries to speak out against him as the villain and the person we should be booing when in fact Will Shuester is just a crappy person and a crappy teacher.
Also in case anybody asks when I mention that Quinn gets it worse than Santana and Rachel (especially Rachel) I am mostly talking about how she is constantly painted as a villain and a bad guy yet Rachel is absolutely awful and gets away with it when they should be showing us the consequences for her actions and Santana is just your outspoken bitch character who is constantly a not so great person while they actually try to make Quinn likeable but constantly try to make her a fully bad person when she really isn't.
It feels like the show really wanted her to be your stereotypical blonde haired bully and I think they were being super lazy when they could have added so much more to her but I guess that would have taken away from Rachel wouldn't it?
