best week of my life. ever. yay!
got back from New York City about 2 hours ago and it was honestly the most amazing trip of my whole life and i'm sure it will be for as long as i live. it'll be a really hard trip to beat! i spent 5 days in an incredible city with my favourite people and i've cried my eyes out, laughed so much my eyes were streaming and it's been so overwhelming and words can't describe it! this is gonna be reaaaaaally cheesy so it'll sound really silly but idc it was awesome.
we performed in so many different places from st paul's chapel to american eagle in times square. st paul's was unbelieveable though. i'd say it was one of the best feelings ever to sing in there, i felt honoured to be able to do it. ground zero was such an emotional place as well. i didn't think going there would effect me as much as it did, but it was really touching and words can't really describe what it felt like but it was really overwhelming.
the whole city is gorgeous as well. we went ice skating in central park the first day and it was awesome. times square is amazing, all the lights and everything is just so big! i loved it at night, everything is just so crazy. you see it in pictures and on tv but to actually be there is unreal. i love it. there's always something going on somewhere and it's a truly beautiful place<3 it was so funny how we broke into song anywhere and everywhere and no one batted an eyelid, it was just like the normal thing to do haha
its so hard to describe what an amazing experience i had, i keep repeating myself when i talk about it haha. i could talk for ages about it but i'll be here forever and it'll make me sad because i miss it already :(
it's not fun to stay at the YMCA just for the record
