7/18 (final day)

such a sad day. it was our last day in new york! i loved new york it was so beautiful it was amazing. i still probably wouldn’t live there but i loved it so much. everything was so great.

we started the day by taking a subway all the way to lower manhattan and taking a boat to go see the statue of liberty. we were gonna go on the staten island ferry but my mom is kind of dumb sometimes. she fell for this stupid scam thing and the boat was actually mad low quality. still cool though even if i almost got seasick.

here’s another thing about this trip that honestly ruined it for me. i felt so dizzy. i was alright during days 1 and 2 but once day 3 hit i was just so out of it. i felt like i got whacked in the head and was still recovering the whole time.

we almost got on the wrong train and we had to figure out which was the right one to where we wanted to go in lower eastern manhattan.

it was so hot in the subway area. super super hot the heat was gonna make me fucking die i was cramping everywhere and i thought i was gonna meet god that day. we finally got on the subway train and i felt like i was about to puke all over the train.

we finally got to the place we needed to be at and we took a long drive to get to the boat we were gonna be riding on.

while we were on the drive i sat next to my sister and i was talking about my cds and how i’ll ship them out and all that kind of stuff.

we were on the boat and we were on the hudson river and and i was feeling so sick. it was the final day and at this point i felt so fed up from the motion sickness and i felt like i was gonna puke all over the place.

i’m so confused how it happened i think it was the constant elevators, flights, subway rides, and more. i felt like i was gonna faint right there.

wish i could type more but nothing really happened on the boat ride. i was just scrolling on my phone the whole time and trying to mind my own business praying i don’t vomit right there. it was just rain and that’s all that really happened

there was water leaking into the boat showing how low quality that fucking boat ride was.

then we finally saw the statue of liberty and i felt so underwhelmed but the rain helped make it exciting

after the boat ride one of the craziest things happened. my good friend was in jersey and was a bridge away from me.

his name’s marco rassa he was on my album on the song “buzzerbeater” and he’s a really close friend of mine. known him for a couple years. i knew he was gonna be in new york but i didn’t expect us to be so near. we sadly didn’t meet up cause we did want to flick up with each other but again that didn’t happen. would’ve been sick though.

after that we drove to the louis vutton store. originally we were gonna go the cafe but my mom never made the reservation. again, my mom can be a little dumb sometimes. (love u mom)

got some cool pictures though. me and my sister went exploring around the whole store. i love LV. i’ve always wanted to own stuff from there but obviously we’re broke. again, canal street was there idk why i didnt get anything

While the great luminous signs and the advertising of brands like Raleigh Cigarettes invited audiences to the glamour of cinema and live music, real life on the streets told another story.
