Did a side-by-side comparison of the 18yo Allardice and 21yo Parliament expressions from @glendronach the other day (individual reviews to come). For a $30 CAD price gap you get a world of a difference! ... The 18yo Allardice has super long legs, and the Oloroso dominates the nose, palate, and finish. ... The 21yo Parliament is a true “sherry bomb”. The PX casks definitely make an impact on the overall profile which is far deeper and more complex than the 18. ... For the $30-$40 difference I wouldn’t say one is preferable over the other because they differ so much.
