End Of Hiatus

Now, due to various problems, I've been gone for a while, but I have been keeping up with the show, and, you know, it's time to come back. *complete absence of hallelujah chorus*

Alas, I won't be able to be on here quite as much as before, at least for the moment, but if anyone wants a thread, please drop me an ask! Maggie can't wait to have some badass adventures with you! Also, she's nicked Daryl's poncho, so he may want it back.

If we had something going on that I really enjoyed/I can remember us plotting/You haven't changed your username, I'll tag you in this, but there's no obligation - I'd just love to hear from you :) If you see this and still want to rp, just drop me a quick ask! I know I owe most of you replies, so I'll be able to post those asap.

Okay, general announcement for everyone, but I'm especially tagging people I have threads with.

So, I've been thinking about it on and off for a while now, and with everything that's been going on lately, I'm deciding that I'm going to put Duffy on hiatus for a while. Things are trying to get sorted out personal-wise and I'm usually focused on Indy a lot more lately.

Maybe I'll get a muse back for him in a bit. Right now, he just isn't cooperating and I don't want to give you guys bad quality stuff as I try to keep up. I'm still planing on checking in occasionally, but for the most part  I'll be putting things to reply to in drafts for now so I will have it when Duffy decides to cooperate. 

I'm sorry, guys. I feel kind of crappy for doing it, but for right now, it's just for the best bet for me to worry about only one character while things are getting sorted. But everyone can always reach me on Indy or on aim if you got that. Most of you guys follow me on that account anyway, so it's not like you won't see me.

Meet the Family || Wichy, Connor, Murphy, Glenn, & Jack

Wichy sighed, looking down at her phone for the millionth time. She wanted so badly to text Glenn and tell him that dinner was cancelled, but she knew her dads would be upset with her if she did that.

Stupid Jack. Sometimes she didn't know why she was friends with him. Telling Connor that she was dating Glenn. He was her Dad. How could he do that to her? Connor was so over protective and she had no idea what Murphy was going to do. Glenn was nice and sweet. She felt like she was asking him to walk into a war zone. This was definitely going to be just as bad or worse as the first time Connor caught her and Jack getting high.

Quickly, she typed in a text, telling him how sorry she was for what was about to happen. Then she left her room and went looking for her dads. "I really don't think any of this is necessary." she explained to them. Wichy had to give it one last try, even though she knew there was no way in hell her dads were letting this one go.

"Glenn's really nice. Just promise me, you'll be nice." she told her dad, giving him a serious look. "Please?" Wichy asked softly as she took a seat at the table. From there, she just hoped she could beat both her dads to the door.

— For no reason, my muse decides to take yours out to a fun fair and tries to win all the prizes.

"Wichy, you do know all those games are rigged, right?"

She was all set to have a go at the ring bottle toss. This was maybe their third official date. Wichy didn’t count her visits to the pizza parlor where he worked since she came so often, but Glenn. She didn’t know how the dating thing was supposed to go. But he seemed pretty happy just to be there and that was enough for her, for now.

They had been walking around, trying to figure out what to do first, when Glenn had made a joke that he couldn’t live without one of those stuffed animals hanging over one of the carnival games. That was when Wichy decided there was no way they were living without one.

Wichita gave Glenn a funny look before smiling. “Then that means you won’t get upset if I cheat?”

"How do you even cheat at one of those games?"

"Close your eyes."

"What? Wichy, no."

"Close them.” She told him, her lips pressing into a firm line. Finally, Glenn, shutting his eyes. Wichy wandered off, just as Glenn peeked to see what she was doing. He couldn’t see as she had disappeared into a crowd of people. He closed his eyes quickly when he saw was coming back, her arms behind her back.

Then he felt her hand tugging his forward before something soft and plushy was pressed into his palms. Glenn opened his eyes to see that he was holding a small bright pink unicorn. 

"Uhh. Thanks?"

Wichita laughed loudly. “I don’t know. I thought he was cute.”

"How did you even get him?"

Wichita smiled up at him. “Oh, I’m never telling you that.”
