The advantage to his career in streaming meant he worked from home, and working from home meant he could also work on getting everything perfect for when Dante got home for their Valentine’ Day date. He wasn’t a master chef, but he could follow a recipe. He got them a nice meal made up, plus dessert. He made up the table all fancy with candles and nice cutlery, even a tablecloth. He had a bottle of champagne chilling, got himself all dolled up in a nice button down and slacks. He’d been putting all the finishing touches in place when he heard the door open and he grinned brightly. “Welcome home,” he said, coming out to greet his boyfriend. He came in close to press a sweet kiss to Dante’s lips. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
