FranticFic Ficlets part 2

Okay so these two specific ficlets are a pair, because.... well... you’ll see!!! I started both of them and chose the characters....  They fucking killed me when I saw what they ended up as!!! 

The first fic features @nonbinarychaoticstupid as aethsys. The second fic features @phosphoricbomb​ as Kim, and @therealjeffthechiller as Danger!

TITLE: The fault in our gay feelings FEATURING THE CHARACTERS: entrapta, glimmer WRITERS: tipsy, k80, aethsys ! RATED ALL AGES

Tipsy: 

Glimmer was watching her favourite movie, "The Fault in our Stars".  She was munching on her toffee popcorn and crying her eyes out at the emotional climax... She almost didn't notice when a purple tentacle came down from the ceiling and SNATCHED the bag right out of her hands!!!

"HEY!!!" yelled Glimmer, "GET BACK HERE!!! WHY DO YOU ONLY DO THIS TO MEEEEEEE????"  

Entrapta cackled and streamed down the vents, munching on popcorn, while Glimmer attempted to teleport after her... --------------------

Glimmer fell ontop of Entrapta pinning her to the ground but something even worse then a tech milf stealing her pop corn has occured. Entraptas glasses have been knocked clean off and her hair is framing her face in just the right way giving Glimmer the most disturbing of all reactions.

Entraptas hot!? --------------------

aethsys: 

"Oh G-d." She buries her face in her hands, taking deep breaths. Not now. Please not now. Not this. It's not that she's opposed to the idea, exactly. It's more that - well, a) she's the literal QUEEN and this is undignified and b) Entrapta just stole her fu - *sorry, Mom* - freaking popcorn in the middle of her favourite movie. Yeah. She sets off after her again, jogging alongside the path of the vents until she reaches the next gap in the walls. She should probably - say something. Yeah. That might be helpful. Saying something. To Entrapta. Who she inexplicably finds attractive. Oh, *G-d*.

TITLE: DEFINITELY A CATRADORA FIC FEATURING THE CHARACTERS: glimmer, scorpia WRITERS: tipsy, kim, danger RATED ALL AGES

Tipsy: 

Glimmer and Scorpia were in the Fright Zone, setting things up for reparations.  

"Ugh", yelled Glimmer, "there's plants EVERYWHERE!!! You think Adora could unleash Etheria's magic a little less AGGRESSIVELY??"    

Scorpia smiled. "I dunno, I really like it!!! The Fright Zone is usually, you know, so damp and boring and smells of fried eggs for some reason??? So the shiny flowers make everything much brighter and nicer smelling and GOSH I don't think there's been sunlight in this room for 30 years, we'll probably have to board up the wall but---"  

Glimmer smiled affectionately at the larger woman as she rambled, and felt a sting of guilt, eyes resting on the black garnet. --------------------

kim: 

"Ah fuck, get off!" Glimmer yelped, turning to look down and seeing a Guilt Scorpion stinging her with the emotion. She kicked it away.

"Whoa hey don't hurt the little guy D:" Scorpia squeked rushing over. "They dont mean anything."

"They're TERRIFYING, how do you live with these?" Glimmer yelled.

"Oh well that's easy, you just, owch!" Scorpia yelped. She was about to turn around and get the stinger out of her back. But suddenly everything was turning pink and romantic. She couldn't help but notice just how gorgeous Glimmer's face was.

"Wh- Scorpia, whoa hold on- OUCH!" Glimmer yelped as a romance scorpion stung her. She snarled, kicking the little guy away. She groaned, suddenly a piping hot bomb of fury. Furious, that she'd never seen how amazing and gorgeous Scorpia was! --------------------

Danger: 

"Where you always this pretty?" Scorpia blurted out, only to cover her mouth a moment too late. The words were out in the open, and weighing heavier with each shade of pink slowly coloring her face.

"I- You- Uhh... Yes?" Glimmer stutters, taken aback by the Scorpionis sudden, if shy, advances. She herself can't help but notice the elegant way Scorpias carapace curves and twists along her body, smooth angles and sharp points culminating in a shape that is so very, perfectly... hot?

"You think they'll miss us for a few hours?" Glimmer asked.

"No?" Scorpia responded.

"Good."

Glimmer/Scorpia?

1. My take on their canon relationship:

I actually really love the sequence of their relationship in canon. For all of season 1 and 2, I saw them as foils to each other, actually. Scorpia, the princess who will never claim her throne because it has been stolen from her, Glimmer, who should never have claimed her throne because her mother never should have left it. They’re both very friendly and spunky people, but also should NEVER be underestimated in a fight. They’re navigating this new, close friendship with Catra/Adora for the first part of the series, and they both take a very “bullrush it and it’ll work out fine” approach. Glimmer must overcome her internalized inadequacies that come from the mentality that she’s “JUST a princess” and won’t ever be like her mother, and Scorpia must overcome her internalized inadequacies that come from the fact that she’s a princess at all, raised in the Horde where princesses are MONSTERS, Vicious Violent Instigators. Neither ever had that many friends, just Bow for the longest time, for Glimmer, and Scorpia... Scorpia had no one. They have a hard time fitting in. They can come off as intimidating, either due to Scorpia’s appearance or Glimmer’s aggressive passion for everything she does.

3. Reasons why I do/don’t ship them;

They’ve walked such similar paths, internally, for being raised in such entirely different situations. And, like, look at them. They’re sweet. I know Glimmer was manipulating Scorpia in that situation, but the thing about Glimmer (and Catra) is that she uses the TRUTH as her weapon of choice. She meant every word she said. And Scorpia, she just wants to help people. And Glimmer, she’s willing to do anything she has to to help people, to end this war that neither of them wants to be fighting. They see each other first, as worthy opponents, and then, as worthy friends. ALSO! GLIMMER! IS THE FIRST PERSON! IN CANON! TO INITIATE A HUG WITH SCORPIA! Every other hug we see, Scorpia’s always the one to hug first, and yeah, okay, technically Scorpia hugged Glimmer, but then she let her go and backed off and GLIMMER! HUGGED! HER!

Also Enemies to lovers trope, we all know I’m weak.

4. Headcanon, if any:

Glimmer “You know what this means? MAKEOVER TIME!*~*~*~*” of Bright Moon and Scorpia “Tried on three dresses just to feel pretty and have fun before going to prom” of the Desert Throne ABSOLUTELY DO MAKEOVERY THINGS TOGETHER! Scorpia’s in Bright Moon now! She’s gotta get the Horde symbol off her back!!! SOMEONE GIVE MY GIRL A BLOUSE AND A SKIRT C’MON PEOPLE IT’S TIME TO UPDATE ANOTHER WARDROBE!!!!!

Glimmer absolutely spoils Scorpia ROTTEN
