I know that ask problably is for the comic, but I want to answear this lmao
Glitch never seen a person before or talked with one. He doesn't know what "love" means or the feeling to be loved by someone especial. Just like the AU's names says, Glitch forgotten about this feeling and know the basic: Happy, sad, angry, surprised...
But as creator, I think Glitch probably is pansexual. He only loves someone for the personality, not gender and stuff.
What changed the most from the old Glitch to the new Glitch Steven?
Well, maybe his gem's super powers and personality.
Personality: In the old ref for example. He was supposed to be shy and have anxiety, why? Because I wanted to talk about social fobia and anxiety and the way he tried to fight with it. But I started to think a lot and I see that it doesn't fit with him. And now he is a social butterfly and want to befriend everyone!
Gem's powers: I make it more simple. I started to think to myself "How a 16-17 years old boy who doesn't leave his own bubble, know that he can can add, remove or modify something even he doesn't know what a banana is?" Or "How he can turn into another person or animal if he never seen one?". The portal thing is a "accident" 'cause he make portals to another world using his mind. It's something like that:
Glitch: Omg... I'm so bored!! I wish I could to have my own adventure in a world with a lot of monster who I can battle or befriend them.
*A portal appears*
Glitch: Oh. Adventure time, baby!!!
