Dude that fight between Hunk and Lance was really cool, Hunk is SO POWERFUL physically and it was amazing to see. :D
For REAL. I am a big fan of the concept of berserker Hunk, too. He’s such a gentle giant, but he has such obvious reserves of strength, too. I think it would be really cool to see him lose it for some very good reason, like one of his friends hurt or in danger. And imagine the come-down afterward! Hunk would probably be shaking and horrified, and Lance would be sitting next to him rubbing his shoulder and telling him it’s okay. But eventually Hunk would come to accept that part of himself, and maybe realize that he can do a lot more than he thought he could, even in extreme circumstances.
AH sorry, I was typing on my way into work lol. All of the trees just gave me a "Boom Crash" vibe for the trees lance and shiro took shelter up in and I was like ohhhhHH NO PLZ NO but obviously it didn't go that way lol. Then it also reminded me of the second one when they accidentally activated an army of galra soldiers in the forest :D
OH! Haha, okay, I get it now. Yeah, I love scifi settings that incorporate huge-ass trees. So much fun. And I really liked that that episode didn’t make it about tech versus nature, but both of them working in harmony. It was original and very cool.

Haha, I meant the end of the first Boom Crash story. :D But thanks! You’re the second person to tell me that things in the new season reminded you of my fics, which is a huge compliment.
So during the ep with Pidge unlocking her lion power, I had such a Boom Crash moment cuz they came in above the trees and I was like OH NO
Ah, really? Like when Hunk and Pidge and Keith descended on the Galra at the end of the first one? That’s cool! I didn’t even think of that. But yeah, the lions flying around in a forest was pretty awesome. Great episode. I loved it.
