ok about ulaz’s sacrifice… 

even though ulaz is ultimately sacrificing himself to save voltron, look at his choice of words. the universe needs you, not the universe needs “it” or “you all” in reference to voltron, but you. he’s talking directly to shiro here. it’s hammering in again that shiro is needed. he is valuable. he’s not disposable. and this isn’t the first time ulaz has said this

and let’s remember….those are the last words ulaz says before he dies.
