"The Long Drop" - Sarah Van Gameren & Tim Simpson (Studio Glitherto)

THEY ARE SO AWESOME! When the paint hardens, the wooden frames are removed, and a table is created. Another product that reflects its process, because of the still visible layers and patterns created by the dripping paint. In fact, the base of the table is still connected with the top of the spiral, from where paint originally flowed. This was done in an effort to "merge the moment of creation with the final product".

p.s. just ignore the annoying music, though.

"The Big Dipper" - Sarah Van Gameren, a Dutch designer (Studio Glitherto)

The big metal thing, which resembles a chandelier in itself, is dipped into wax repeatedly. When the wax dries, a chandelier is formed. This project is very spontaneous and process based, with the formations of each candlestick being unpredictable, because the wax will dry and drip differently for each stick. The outcome reflects the process.
