When is Glitra Week?
Monday, June 28th through Sunday, July 4th
How can I participate?
There’s no one way!
Whatever you want to do to celebrate Glimmer and Catra together is great! Fanfiction, fan art, doodles, roleplay chat logs, videos, cosplay, the possibilities are endless!
You can find the prompts here!
Beyond that, there are a few things to keep in mind:
Don’t use this as an opportunity to hate on other characters* or ships, let’s keep things positive!
Please respect the canon sexualities of the characters (i.e. Catra is a lesbian, Glimmer is Bisexual)
Don’t use this as an opportunity to put forth hate speech (racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc).
* Shadow Weaver hate is acceptable.
What if I don’t finish my submission on time? Or if I can’t / don’t want to do something for every prompt?
That’s totally fine! Do as much as you want! Even after Glitra Week is over, you can continue to submit and ping things to this account, our Ao3 Collection (see bellow), and to @yanasapphic. This is about celebrating what we can do and contribute, no need to force ourselves to go beyond what we are able!
What if I can’t think of anything for the prompts?
That’s ok too! We have a Free Swap already in place for that. For any day of the week, swap in another prompt of your choosing that you like to do instead! All of these prompts are guidelines - it’s more important that we celebrate Glitra than stick to what’s here.
Posting and tagging content on Tumblr
Tag this account in a post of your own (using an @glitra-week-2021) and we’ll reblog it! You can also use #GlitraWeek in the tags! If you don’t have your own tumblr, send us an anonymous ask/submission and we’ll make the post for you!
Posting to Ao3
For fics, add them to the GlitraWeek2021 collection!
When the week gets started, we’ll have a link here to the collection page so you can see all the works currently up! (Don’t have an Ao3 Account, it’s free to sign up but takes a little while for registration to be complete, so don’t wait!)
Can I post NSFW / Mature content?
Yes, with some restrictions.
Please keep all mature and nsfw content to a minimum. I.e. fics and other submissions shouldn’t revolve solely around these topics (i.e. PWPs). If you want your submission to be reblogged to this account, please keep any descriptions or summaries pg/teen, but MAKE SURE TO TAG YOUR CONTENT AS EXPLICIT.
We want this event to be as inclusive as possible, so please respect these restrictions.
