"I love enemies to lovers but without the abuse"
"I love enemies to lovers but without them hurting each other"
"I love enemies to lovers but without them trying to kill each other"
"I love enemies to lovers but without them wanting to hurt/kill the other"
"I love enemies to lovers but only if they fight for little things"
Ma'am, sir, or whatever you want to be called, do you even know the meaning of the word "enemy"?
Enemy: 1) a person who is actively opposed or hostile to someone or something. 2) a hostile nation or its armed forces, especially in time of war. 3) a thing that harms or weakens something else.
These are the different meanings of "enemy". So no, someone you disagree with about little things is not your enemy. For the love of God, understand it already. An enemy is someone you hate. An enemy is someone you want to hurt. An enemy is someone you want to see destroyed. An enemy is someone you'd like to kill. It's someone with a completely different morality, with different morals, with different ways of seeing the world.
An enemy it's not a person who jokes with you like "Oh, you're an idiot" "No, you". It's someone who takes seriously the fights against you, who would do anything to see you defeated and broken. That's what an enemy would do. If they do nothing like these things, they're not your enemy. They can be your rival, or someone you don't get along with, but definitely not an enemy.
And if you don't like these things, then you definitely don't like enemies to lovers ships. Because enemies to lovers ships are based on "two enemies -and I'll repeat it again just in case: two enemies- falling in love, after one corrupts or one redeems". If you don't like/don't accept two people hurting each other when they are enemies and then falling in love, don't pretend you like the enemies to lovers trope, because trust me, you really don't. You don't even know what's the trope about-

Poor glimmer. Imagine being a bisexual disaster with your questionably platonic best friend, fighting injustice, when suddenly a blonde super soldier turned warrior goddess trips face-first into your life. She's somehow the most terrifyingly competent woman you've ever met, a clueless ditz, and an absolute softie. You are smitten, but she's also your friend and you look up to her and you're at war so mostly you're just excited to be doing your thing!!
Then you meet her ex. Ahem, ex best friend. Definitely.
And if Adora wasn't enough of a sapphic wet dream, here's the nightmare counterpart: the angriest, most vicious enemy you've faced and a smirking little shit who shows you up at almost every turn. You hate her. Right. Definitely. That's definitely anger you're feeling. And if you picture her in a sexy outfit every now and then, who does that really hurt? Surely you're not the only one who can't stop thinking about her being evil.
She crashes out, your mom gets stuck in an alternate dimension, you become queen, there's a bunch of normal drama and war drama and you nearly blow up the planet trying to beat her and you WIN but it doesn't feel satisfying because right at the end you see she's been broken and flailing from the start. You should have known, in hindsight, after what Adora was like. But it was easier not to think about it. You bond on an alien flagship and then she saves your life. You reconnect with your friends and go back for Catra. She's still Catra, but you know she can figure this out. And she does! There's a hiccup but she clearly loves Adora (and Adora saved her from death itself) and together their love saves the universe.
You're with Bow and Catra's with Adora and your dad is alive now? So that's amazing! But there's just. One small problem.
You live basically next door to the hottest lesbian couple...maybe of all time. They do not have a sense of propriety, (they grew up in BARRACKS after all) they are desperately in love, and they are NOT. QUIET.
So you get to die a little inside every day, because you KNOW Bow would be supportive and healthy about this because he's the most chill person you've ever known! The calming goat to your anxious horse.
And then one day Catra walks in on you naked and casually drops "nice ass, sparkles" like it's the most normal thing to say to a friend and now you have to teleport yourself into the kingdom of snows because if you don't dunk your head into a snow bank you are GOING to combust.
