I won't feign surprise that winter is back. Chicago is the farthest south I've ever lived, so the bitter cold is a given. However, since last year nearly broke me (the hellish street parking), I decided to head off misery at the pass with some retail therapy (with the help of some recent sales)
AllSaints Drina Cardigan - you can't quite see from this image, but the drape zips at the shoulder. I wore it for the first three days straight.
Pomme Frites Tobacco and Teakwood candle - I found mine at Madewell, but since then I've noticed this brand in a variety of florists and gift shops. So rustic!
Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve
OPI Gwen Stefani Collection Love is Hot and Coal. Made me abandon my classic dark burgundy.
Kiehl's Body Butter - the limited grapefruit scent is back for the holidays, and I found adorable baby-size tubs at Nordstrom. Perfect for packing for all those holiday travels.
Club Monaco Safiya Hat - the store honored an online-only sale, so I took the tags off and wore out of the store.
Cashmere glittens - makes all the difference in the morning
Splendid Rodeo Suede Booties
Splendid Laventa Strap Booties - my first foray into Splendid shoes. Review: comfortable out of the box.
