A request for help, if you can

So about this time last month, many of you might remember me taking emergency commissions in order to help mitigate some of my bills and moving expenses. I’m happy to announce I’VE MADE IT! I’m currently living with some friends who are kindly letting me stay on their couch (okay, it’s my couch, but it’s in their living room) while I look for work, not charging me rent in exchange for taking carre of some of the household duties. A sort of live-in housekeeper, if you will.

My problem lies in the fact that while I still have bills that are due, I have zero money. Zero dollars in my account. In fact I am pretty sure I have negative dollars in my account. I’m still working on a very long commission at the moment, so I’m reluctant to accept any more commission contracts, but I still need to make some kind of money so that I don’t have the IRS sending me collection notices. My credit score is already pretty shitty as it is.

So I am humbly begging on the internet. Again. I feel terrible having to do this at all, but until I get a job I really don’t have a whole lot of other options. Hello everyone! Anyone who knows me knows it's been a dream for me to move out west. I've waited and waited, hoping that my time would come. Fortunately, that time is now. Unfortunately, it's not under the best of circumstances. The atmosphere at my workplace has become increasingly hostile, to the point where it is drastically affecting my physical and mental health. All of my many and varied attempts to apply for a job remotely in order to relocate have fallen through, as no one wants to hire outside of their local area. All of that, on top of a growing mountain of expenses and a stagnant career with little indication of a chance at growth in the company, has made for a very stressed out woman at the end of her rope. For the sake of my health and in hopes of finding better work, I will be quitting my job and moving out west at the end of October. I have some generous friends who have offered me their couch until I am able to get established. That said, picking up and moving costs a lot of money. While I am doing everything in my power to squirrel money away, I could really use your help. I am asking that, if you’re able and willing, to support me by buying me a coffee. Currently I’m trying to think of a way to thank anyone who donates, but that’s still in the works as I try to wrap up my responsibilities here. emergency commissions!

Due to me not having any income being unemployed and having a lot of bills and expenses coming up with a big cross-country move, I’ve decided to open emergency commissions. I have a little over 3 weeks before the big day, so I’m trying to scrounge together whatever I can!

I’d appreciate if you considered a commission, shared this post, or even just checked out my works here at AO3. Probably my most well-known works are Beacon and The Parting Glass.

My strength lies in whump and angst (Keith and Lance being my usual victims, sorry boys), though I’ve a penchant for fluff and hurt/comfort as well, so please feel free to shoot any ideas my way and I will tell you whether or not it’s something I can work with.

For 1 ko-fi ($3 USD) - 300 words

For 2 ko-fis ($6 USD) - 600 words 

For 3 ko-fis ($9 USD) - 900 words

For 4 ko-fis ($12 USD) - 1,200 words

For 5 ko-fis ($15 USD) - 1,500 words

Bonus option (available for all tiers): 1 additional ko-fi ($3 USD) will include a formatted PDF or EPUB file with a hand-drawn header for offline reading. You will have the option of which file type you want.

Since this is before such a large move (and I’m working on several zine pieces), I’m reluctant to commission anything longer than 1,500 words, but again, I’m flexible.
