Why I Made This Tumblr: Even tho my main blog has been through dozens of fandoms, I always felt kind of self conscious whenever I would get into the phandom through the years. so this time around i decided to make my own, judgment free blog! “You’re punishing me, aren’t you?”

Phil, who had been sat on a stool behind the counter and texting away on his phone for the entire shift, glanced up from the small screen and squinted at Dan as if he had no idea what was going on. Dan’s suspicions were confirmed when all that Phil did was smile and go back to staring at his phone.

“What makes you think that, Dan?”

“Um, because it’s pretty fucking obvious? I mean, now it is after I’ve already wasted a bunch of time and—see, that’s why you’re laughing! It’s because I’m right and you’re just fucking with me!”

Frustrated and a little upset, Dan groaned and waited impatiently for the jerk to stop laughing at him. And, well, maybe he did deserve this little prank that had been pulled on him. Maybe he also should’ve been more or less worshiping Phil at his feet for not only sparing Dan the night before, but also for getting him this job—even if he was being a merciless little tease.

Regardless of any of that, it still pissed him off to no end.

“Okay, okay, so I may have exaggerated just a little bit?” Phil emphasized those words with a gesture, holding his thumb and index finger close together. “And if it makes you feel any better, you’ve been doing a pretty great job! I applaud you. Really, I do.”

Dan was not amused. It wasn’t as if he could do anything about it, though. He had already finished the repetitive tasks and now he would be forced to work with this guy for—well, until he somehow managed to get himself fired, which was probably inevitable.

Sighing from exhaustion and annoyance, Dan leaned against the counter and let his forehead thud against the surface. It hurt a little, but nothing hurt more than his dignity.

“You’re a special brand of evil,” he mumbled. “Has anyone ever told you that?”

Because he was most likely enjoying this, Phil let out another laugh. He also began poking Dan’s exposed roots.

“Not really. Most people would say that I’m a pretty nice guy, actually.”

“Uh-huh. So it’s just me that you want to torture, or…?”

“I dunno, torture makes it sound more dramatic than it really is.”

“Good, ‘cause I’m a pretty dramatic person.”

Phil hummed. “I can tell.”

He didn’t say anything else after that, which was a bummer because the night had been long and tedious and Dan craved some form of entertainment. He lifted his head from the desk to see what Phil was up to now, and was unsurprised to see that he’d gone back to texting and no longer giving Dan the attention that he thought he deserved.

Dan took this moment to study Phil’s physical features from up close. He hadn’t noticed it before now, or maybe he had and his subconscious was simply electing to ignore it, but he realized that Phil was quite… attractive, for lack of a better word. He wasn’t muscular at all and he hardly had a tan—in fact, he was even paler than the moon and his jet black hair accented that. Even so, he was actually kind of beautiful in a way that most boys weren’t.

Soft, maybe. Yeah, soft was probably the correct word to describe it.

Phil’s skin looked so soft and smooth. His wrists were thin and dainty, his fingers long and elegant. Dan could only imagine the various things that he used them for. For instance, texting his friends instead of providing Dan with adequate entertainment, which Dan wasn’t okay with, but…

He was caught staring when Phil suddenly glanced up without warning, almost as if he secretly had the ability to read Dan’s mind or something. Feeling guilty and a little bit freaked out, Dan instantly turned his head to look in the opposite direction.
