Can't believe it's been a month since #HurricaneHarvey hit our city. Yesterday was nothing short of amazing! *** @frorealdoe hosted a phenomenal event #GlitteredInGoals #ReliefAndRelax Happy Hour at @edubalicioustreats (Ms. Ella) with the fantastic sounds of @thereelchill for our #HoustonAfterHarvey Recovery Project in collaboration with @newperspectived and @branchxhouston *** Thank you to everyone who showed up, donated, shared, and brought happiness to our mission. ❤️🙏🏾💜😍😁🎊🎉 (at E-dub-a-licious Treats)

Gift Card Drive 💳 + Happy Hour🍷😊 • • This Gift Card Donation drive will benefit @TheTroubledMovement. Every gift card donated will be given DIRECTLY to the families that this non-profit organization is sponsoring, that have been hit hard by Harvey. I can not imagine being in the position of so many who have lost everything. But, I feel as if I would really want to be able to go out and buy SOME things on my own. I am sure these families would love to be able to do that. So, let's help them. • • We will be accepting gift cards for: @Target, @WalMart, @KrogerCo, @HEB, and other local grocery stores. You are also welcomed to donate non-specific gift cards like @VISA_us and @AmericanExpress. Your donations will be tax deductible. • • Thank you to DJ @TheReelChill and the ladies at @TheCocoaHue for collaborating on this. Also, a SUPER THANK YOU to Ella, for opening up @edubalicioustreats for the cause! Some of us are out of the storm, and some of us are still riding it out. My prayers are with everyone as we push through this! • • As I look ahead, I know we are all going to need to take a breather, and not forget to exhale, unwind, and take a moment to just enjoy one another. With that in mind, I decided to make the next #GlitteredInGoals event a time for #RELIEF, and a time to #RELAX for a happy hour...or three 🤷🏾‍♀️😊. • • RELIEF: Your admission to this event will simply be to bring a gift card to: Target, WalMart, Kroger, HEB, or another Texas grocery store. These will be donated to a local 501(c)(3) non profit, @thetroubledmovement. They are working to sponsor families who've been affected by #hurricaneharvey. These gift cards will go directly to these families in need. • • RELAX: After you've made your donation, unwind and enjoy the vibes given to us by @thereelchill. • • Details are falling into place and you know I'll provide them as they come.
