17 and 26 Dorian/Fahleon/Raya
“What happened?” Raya asked, and Fahleon shook his head when she turned his eyes to him. She frowned and he wiped whatever semblance of a smile was on his face with the back of his hand before it could give him away. That left Dorian to be questioned, and his face, already red from the sharp tilt of his head Raya had it at to examine the wound on his shoulder went a shade darker.
“I was bit,” Dorian answered, and he cleared his throat when his voice went high. Fahleon coughed a laugh into his fist and held it close against his mouth before another slipped out. Dorian frowned sharply at him, but Raya’s hands on either side of his head kept his aim off.
“By what? No bee does this!” Her fingers tapped the yellowing skin around the mark and Dorian shivered. Fahleon’s eyes darkened.
“No, it wasn’t a bee. More like a bird,” he stressed.
“Ada?” Raya flicked her eyes back up at Fahleon and he choked on his laugh.
