A Walk in the Park ♪

A lovely breeze was about on this nice, Summer day. Lucille had just finished a battle with another trainer, and it was safe to say that it was quite an easy win. She was called an Ace Trainer for a reason afterall. The gravel on the pavement crunched underneath her boots as she looked for something to do. There were many people out today, youngsters, merchants, Poke fans and kids. They were all soaking up the sun and lying down on the grass, some relaxing as others pampered their Pokemon. 

Lucille looked around, the wind caused the trees to rustle slightly, drowning out the sounds of the city not far away from this large park. She turned to her Whimsicott who was teetering alongside of her, he seemed to be enjoying the weather just as much as she was. She spotted an empty bench, glancing around once more for any trainers wanting to battle her, and sat down. Lucille sighed happily, the sunshine on her face. She'd been walking pretty aimlessly all day and that got a bit tiring. She closed her eyes and started to relax, hearing Whimsy try to climb onto the bench. Lucille opened her eyes and looked down blearily, only to see a pair of feet before her. She was a little surprised and looked up at the person, feeling rather awake now.

"It's not nice to sneak up on someone like that...!"

» Fresh Air «

Opening the door of the house, he walked out to the fresh, clean air of Pacifidlog Town. Such a calm place where no loud noise was to be heard, only the sound of soothing waves. The waves crashed against the town which caused droplets to scatter, the sun reflecting on it and it looked like the place was sparkling. "Ahh, this place is perfect.." Wally didn't mind he was all alone in this place while he was still getting better. His condition had been so bad, but he was very close to getting better. Sadly, he could never be healed from what he had. "I don't mind being like this." 

Was he lying about this or was this how he really felt about this situation? Pacifidlog was a rather lonely place and Wally was still a child. Children needed to go out and have fun with friends right? The closest thing he had to friends in this town was the fictional characters in his book. Stretching, he yawned about and sat down on the ground that was wooden rafts. "Corsola are so kind to help the people here." Reaching for a book that was on a nearby small table, he sat back and opened the book. "Now back to where I was.." 

Every series, page and word was so important when it came to books. The character's personality, their appearance, and what they wore... All of the details made the character who they were and it showed how things affected them. Fears, likes, dislikes.. Small details, facts.. He wasn't in Pacifidlog Town anymore, no. Wherever the character was, Wally was right there with them. If only he could really be there in the flesh.. What a dream that was.. And it could turn into a nightmare so quickly.

While he read the book, he smiled widely. Reading was one of his sources of entertainment! Without books, he'd be lost with what to do when no one was around. No one was around in this place, they all went swimming. Wally did not really like to swim much, but he did feed the Corsola every now and then. Hearing creaks, he snapped out of his little world and looked up from his book to see someone there. The sun made it hard to identify the person. "H-Hello? How may I help you..?" Just who was the person that was creeping by? Why come by the boy who was just reading a book about fictional characters? 

Well, it wouldn't be so bad to talk to an actual being.

Would you like some tea?

The day was growing dark and the cafe was nearly empty. Though out on the streets, you could see the flashing lights of the bright and the shadows of the people passing by on the streets of busy city. Maybe now would have been a good time to close up. A little more extra time to have some rest and relaxation. It had been a while since he had had that for himself.

I'll just wait till the last client leaves. Cress thought to himself as he kept busy filing some papers behind the counter of the cafe. There were not really much thoughts flowing through the waiter's head at the moment, only of possible things he could try out. Maybe a new possible skin treatment. His skin had been feeling a bit dry lately. That would not be good if it continued. It could possibly cause it to become too oily and cause blemishes to appear. That would not leave a good impression on the guests. 

Sometime had passed and he had not noticed the last one had left. It was not until the door chimed once more, letting him know the door had been opened. Looking up, he spotted a face. Hmm, so much for closing early. He muttered under his breath, soon after putting on a smile. 

"Welcome. I'm Cress. And I shall be your waiter for the evening."

The sun settles its rays upon the cowboy's back and shoulders, eliciting a lazy yawn from his throat and an equally lazy stretch of his back. Its late afternoon in Driftveil, specifically, the best part in the city to bask in the sun's rays. Clay's clearly taking advantage of this situation, as he sits by the waterfront, his Excadrill sleeping perhaps too comfortably by his side. He yawns again, clumsily covering his mouth with one hand before he rubs his eyes. It almost looks like he's bound to fall asleep any moment.

Day in and day out it's just work, work, work, and while Clay isn't complaining at all about that, he's finally happy to seize a lazy, work free day for once. Even someone like him could use a spot of relaxation from time to time, after all! Unsurprisingly enough, these spots of relaxation are few and far between, so its really a bit of an understatement to say that Clay has been looking forward to this day for weeks.

Admittedly, though, Clay kind of wishes that he chose to partake in something more exciting. An agitated glance is sent towards the choppy waves, as he briefly considers taking a swim. Its no fun when he's alone, since his Pokemon is napping and obviously doesn't care much for water, anyway. Then his mind travels towards other potential ways to have fun, though he knows he won't leave his spot. Laziness has finally taken its toll and certainly won't leave unless something or someone happens upon Clay.

Right on cue, someone draws near. "Hm?" Clay thinks as he wonders just who that person might be. His Excadrill merely stirs in his sleep, oblivious as to what might happen next.

Sunken Stone (Open)

Steven had half the mind to mutter under his breath, soaking wet, garbed in a bathing suit, and not pleased at all.

Had he taken the time to read more about the ruins in Undella, he'd have figured out by then that they were underwater. Therefore, unreachable to him.

But no, just the thought of ruins he had never visited, which could contain precious stones or other artifacts he could find for fun (and probably turn in to a museum or something afterwards), had him running to the nearest plane.

The locals had not hinted at it either, just saying the ruins were located a ways off the coast.

He was certainly sure he could swim to them, even if Titanium was there for him to ride. Swimming in the beach was fine, right? But he highly doubted that, well, he could dive for prolonged periods of time. Not without a Pokémon with the capability to do so. While he knew a Metagross could sink rather quickly, he was pretty sure he'd run out of air before he reached the bottom.

A wasted trip.

He had, dejectedly, swam back to the shore of the town, only to drop on his towel face-first, berating his rush. He was normally patient and observant, but whenever he went by instinct it was usually the right choice, as well.

Oh well.

And so, he 'wallowed' in his 'misery', which was mostly him mentally berating himself as he lay motionless, except for the occasional adjustment of the umbrella's stick. Titanium, settled on the ground nearby, was merely enjoying itself and ignoring the 'urgh' vibe from its trainer. It was pretty easy to spot the duo. It wasn't like anyone else had a huge Metagross sitting next to them.

Peeved [Open]

"Argh, You're useless!" Proton barked as he clenched his fist around his Golbat's pokeball, "Stupid bat. Why the hell won't you evolve?!"

 The creature turned towards it trainer, a look of disappointment in it's eyes. He was used to being scolded like this. Battle after battle, it always resulted in the same thing. No matter how he trained, his Golbat just wouldn't evolve. Proton just didn't understand. He just saw his Pokemon as tools to help in reach his goals. To make Team Rocket and himself more powerful. So he never saw any reason to treat them as anything other than such. Proton then grumbled something inaudible to himself, and rose his arm out in front of him to call back his Pokemon. At this rate, his Golbat will never evolve.

Sticking his hands in the pockets of his jeans, he started to make his way back towards Violet city, his usual aggravated look stuck on his face. Although Proton was fairly used to failure, the constant trials never broke his determination. The only thing they did do was add to his almost constant sour mood. Although his endeavors with Golbat may never reach success, he knew things were going to turn in his favor. He could feel it.

Coffee Break

The redhead had been taking a small walk around Veilstone City. It was a day off of work so she did not have her regular galactic attire. She had heard that Cyrus was back-yet she had not heard from him, she had looked around headquarters for the older man but no success. Thinking that maybe he had gone out, she decided to go on with her original plans. Or at least until Cyrus called them, letting them know what their next move would be.. If they were going to carry on from where they had left off those years ago. 

Wandering into a small cafe, she spotted a few people in there, none were really so familiar. Being the paranoid type that she is. She felt that they were watching her.. Anticipating something from her. Making her way towards the counter, she ordered a small decaf coffee. While waiting for it to be made, she shuddered, feeling the presence of someone behind her, as it they were actually staring at her. "Can I help you?" She muttered, slowly peeking over her shoulder.

The girl walked slowly, looking at all sides, carefully. She was excited and smiling. Suddenly she stopped walking, climbed a tree and sat down in one of the branches. It was getting dark and Touko was increasingly tired. She tried to straighten in the branch to see if she could rest, even if only a little.
