I never thought I'd see the day that a Halo game would be out for a Tablet but it is! This is the trailer and I'm not sure if I'm impressed, disgusted or disappointed (the last one because I don't own a tablet). It doesn't look like it'll have the same feeling as any of the other games so I wonder if it'll be nearly as successful. I'm also wonder how the controls work as they'll obviously be on the screen. How does one hold the tablet? Or, does the player need it to be stationed somewhere while playing so s/he can have the freedom to move their hands anywhere on the screen?Thankfully there is also going to be a Windows 8 PC version for those uninterested in button smashing their very expensive book-sized screens.
This game is "Set between the events of "Halo 3" and "Halo 4," "Halo: Spartan Assault" explores the first missions of the Spartan Ops program and dives deeper into the backstory of Human-Covenant wars." At least that's an interesting premise. I just can't get over how it looks.
If you want to try out similar games before committing to something as possibly expensive and/or disappointing, you can try Heroes of Order and Chaos, Global Outbreak or Dead Trigger.
