I will now be posting bi-weekly. For the last few months I haven’t always had a lot to share each week, so moving forward I will post twice a month. Same kind of content, just a little less frequent!
On February 5th I was honored to have the privilege to speak at the launch of International Development Week (IDW 2019 “Together for Gender Equality”) at the Manitoba Legislative Assembly on behalf of War Child Canada. As Regional Representative I introduced the Access to Justice Programming in Uganda, which provides legal protection and counselling services for those affected by sexual and gender-based violence and abuse.

Red Hand Day 2019
Red Hand Day, also known as the International Day Against the Use of Child Soldiers, is an annual commemoration day for child soldiers. Each year Child Soldiers International uses the day to amplify their calls to end the use of child soldiers.
