i made it to february.. you know what that means, it's time for the second year of rayman 2025 prompt!!!

the theme for this one was "season of love" so you know i had to make some cute shippy stuff, especially in light of valentine's day being in pissing distance right now.

Ever since this month started I have been pondering endlessly of what I should draw for this prompt, it was either some self shipping stuff, grand minimus x goth teensy, or betilla x ales mansay. That was until I suddenly remembered a ship that I have been growing more and more fond of since last year. Spoiler alert it's GloRay (I know raybox sounds better but that name was taken by that ubi art skin so this is my alternative).

Despite being a fan of this franchise for over a decade now, this pairing between these two never came up to me before, that was until one user by the name of lynnbutlerton made some GloRay art that showed up on my dashboard. When I saw it I was immediately sold on it. I already loved rayman and globox's friendship, their dynamic is just so sweet and endearing, so the idea of viewing their relationship in a more romantic lense just made it an immediate fave of mine. To me they are so close to a point where they're pretty much a couple, but if you were to point it out to them they'd get confused lol.

the problem is that because of how niche GloRay is there is like a very small amount of fanart that's out there, so I figured it was my job to change that hehe.

There is something so insanely fucked up about the fact that despite being one of the most well known and iconic characters in a franchise that is literally turning 30 this year. There are only like 4 people in total who ship rayman and globox together and any gloray fanart that exists is hard to find or just non existent depending on where you look.

Like SURELY I'm not the only person in this fandom who thinks they should kiss and make sweet music with each other right??? Do I have to do everything myself here?? This shit hurts so much!!
