I know I already requested 1 fic buuuut it's my birthday coming up and i was wondering if u could write a short birthday fic (again with ethan nestor × reader) but *plot twist* we are both born the 24th of october Thank you so much💙💙 ))
Here’s the thing.
You and your good friend Ethan shared a birthday, but neither of you knew it. The others in your group of happy little weirdos did and had shooed you both out of the house for the morning while they prepared the surprise party. Naturally you two shrugged it off, thinking it was some sort of video or that Mark just wanted you two to take a breather for a bit; after all it was your birthday. Laughing and joking with Ethan as you both went about your day, it was honestly one of the best birthdays you had ever had! You both had done some shopping, secretly buying the other a gift just for funzies.
Going out to see a movie before walking around a mall and having a grand old time, you shook your head as Ethan wore a silly hat and did a little dance to the stores music. “What are you doing you dork?”
“I’m being hip!” Ethan explained in a weird voice, attempting to sound like a surfer, “Duh~. Can’t you tell by my sweet moves?” he snorted, breaking whatever character that had been as you both burst into laughter. Walking over you took the hat off of him, giving him a gentle bop with it, before putting it back.
“You're such a dope.” you snorted with a roll of your eyes before getting a text, “We gotta go back, Amy says they need our help with something asap.” Pocketing your phone after sending a response you turned with Ethan and left the store.
“Wonder what it is.” Ethan hummed as you made your way down to the uber waiting for you, “They tell us to go have a day out then call us back? Think Mark set the kitchen on fire?” he joked as you both hopped into the car.
“I hope not.” you sigh with a soft giggle as the driver greets you two before heading towards the destination, “Maybe Tyler wounded his ego~.” You joked in return.
The car ride consisted mainly of you two talking and joking around with the weird billboards you saw along the way. After thanking the driver you both got out of the car and made your way up the steps to the home. Ethan held the door open for you, but when it shut behind the two of you everything was silent. “Weird... I swear Mark if you guys are doing a prank video!” Ethan called as he put his hands on his hips.
“Knowing them, we’re probably about to have shaving cream in our faces.” you sighed as the two of you made your way from room to room before ending up in the living room.
“Surprise!” your friends cheered, blowing on those stupid dollar store kazoos while tossing confetti into the air and onto both of you, “Happy birthday Ethan and (Name)!”
“Wait it’s your birthday!?” you both gasped while looking at one another in complete shock before everyone laughed at how dumb the both of you were. It all made sense now! They wanted you two out of the home and had been acting all dodgy because of the surprise party! They were so sweet to do this for the both of you, even if it was embarrassing to not know that the two of you shared the same birthday.
“Here, I got you this.” Ethan said while handing you a bag, a gentle blush across both of your cheeks as you in return handed him the bag you had as well.
“Surprise~.” you chuckled softly before Tyler made a love struck sigh, only to have Mark chime in with kissing noises.
