When we played this song last year, 3 people (including myself and @weeenk) tripped while walking on stage. Needless to say, I had to play the remainder of the service sitting down b/c of a sprained ankle, and while I was one-foot-hopping offstage during prayer, EVERYONE could hear my stupid shoes going CLANK! ****Thank you SO MUCH for a very successful Kickstarter campaign! I couldn’t have possibly done this without all of your support, encouragements, and generosity.**** . Out of all the musician friends I have, I have probably known @kickinbahk for the longest and close enough to call him a brother. We pulled all-nighters talking music, video games, and Star Wars in college, after gigs, and outside our apartments in Burbank when we used to live together and juggle insane schedules as professional musicians. . Back in my Kickstarter video, I had mentioned that I originally studied Classical Guitar Performance during my undergraduate years, but it was because of Josiah I ended up joining Azusa Pacific University’s International Chapel band — and that event changed my life trajectory forever as I decided to pursue a career in the commercial music scene in Los Angeles. And I am so happy and encouraged that he laid down some PHAT, sizzling bass in my tracks, because there’s only one Josiah that I know who can give that much growl and attitude with the 4-stringed beast. (Those of you who see him playing live will know what I’m talking about!) . Thanks everyone for staying with me on this whirlwind of a journey as the Kickstarter campaign comes to a close.
