Music in James Gunn's Superman

I can't believe it took me this long to pick up on this. Everyone knows how David Flemming and John Murphy used John Williams' original Superman theme as the basis for the new score, and I love it. But finally, on my 4 rewatch of James Gunn's Superman, I picked up something else.

Did anyone else hear this, too? I need to know if the inclusion of Shirley Walker's theme from the Animated Series was intentional.

Is this just a coincidence, or am I going crazy? I don't know. But what I do know is that I have literally spent my entire life surrounded by music and scores, and have been a musician for the better part of 17 years now. Eventually, you pick up small things like this.
