Putting this here too because ehhhh (also additional material to what I already said on Discord!)
So.
I have been stuck with the reverse!AU for… mmmm… longer than I'd like to admit. I think I need to do what I have been thinking about for a while now. Overhaul it, change some things, maybe entirely remove some. Mainly because the original was… quite an ambitious project, but ultimately destined to run into a brick wall sooner or later.
I'm not thinking about changing a lot, but I definitely need to remove things I no longer find any use for, or that just go nowhere the way it currently is.
The original will stay up (if you want me dead you'll have to kill me yourself and all that lol), but I don't think I'll continue it until I've done the overhaul, just so I don't run into the same wall again.
Maybe. Or maybe not. This is in the stage of theory still. If I miraculously manage to get out of my corner, I might go on as originally planned.

This is not to say that it'll change completely. No. That's not the case.
I've been thinking about rewriting some parts of it for a long time now (mainly because I lost the flow in those and I just want them all to look like they're part of the same thing lol), so that's gonna be something that happens while keeping the original table of contents as intact as possible. I mainly want to get rid of the things that play no part in the story whatsoever, or that I wrote in there but have since realised I can do fuckall with. I have a pretty good overview as to what is going to happen and how the whole shitshow is going to end, and I'm too lazy to come up with anything new, I fucking still live there, so... (this does mean I might have to figure out how to deal with some of the events that stay in there, but. it is what it is)
As I have already mentioned earlier, The Land of the Unicorns (again, you want me dead you'll have to shoot me yourself) is a direct follow-up fic to the 1st part of the Reverse!AU, after which we're (hopefully) looking at R!AU 2 and 3. Nothing has changed on that end.
