Gloster Gladiator, the RAF's last bi-plane fighter, a plucky contestant! In service with the RAF 1937-41 as a fighter and as a recce aircraft 1944. Sold to 10 other counties in remained in use with the Portuguese Air Force until 1953. (FTP)
