I'm now looking to get into military reenactment. Former Military brat, currently a recruit joining the British Army Reserves, training with 3rd Royal Anglians. American/British mix currently in the U.K.

 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall - November 9, 1989.

31 years ago today the Berlin wall fell.

Come and see us on Sunday - there's some wonderful stories like that of Edward Marevka who left our building on the 13 September 1944 only to be shot down and captured. We'll be open at 10.30AM, the kettle will be on and a warm welcome awaits!

Visted a local model shop for the first time in months yesterday. Picked up a few treats. I grabbed two of the Yak-15 because they were cheap, I couldn't decide on which paint scheme to do and because you can't have enough Soviet jets. The T-60 looks to be decent quality for a Mister Craft kit, but I'll see how it is when I get around to building it. Thier kits are hit and miss in terms of quality. It comes with a few different Russian options, a Polish option and a captured German version.
