I have to admit, at this point in the build it was pretty cool to actually begin to assemble parts that would eventually be a part of the boat.  I know I rushed the mold building phase to get to this and I paid for that rushing later on with lots of hours sanding out mistakes.

The first step in this build is to build the mold for the boat. Being new to boat building, this step was incredibly frustrating! You end up putting lots of time and effort into something that will eventually have nothing to do with the boat. However, just like everything else in life, a good foundation is key!
