Any leather workers know a good place to source some glove leather? I do have some I am looking to buy, it's $55 lamb leather. Which I'm ok with but I feel I should look for alternatives that are cheaper, since this will be my first time ever making leather pieces.

Saying goodbye to these fuckers after 5 years. This dumb, pigskin suede piece of shit is the first pair of gloves I ever made. I never did a full finish on it because it was a pattern test more than anything else. But this is the pair I used for lifting & shopping & rigging. Used em almost every day.
Best thing about suede gloves of any kind is that you can just throw em in the cold wash & air dry em. And they're good to go.
The cutting was a little wonky and the stitching a bit off because of uneven tension.
But, for free sew, I thought the stitch spacing and length was pretty good.
Good bye friends. Time to make new ones.
