about ⋆⋆⋆ the youngest of a relatively large family with two seemingly happily-married parents and successful, smart kids / as the baby of the family, he grew up under his mother’s thumb / his mother, who was pta president and team mom and volunteered at every event while also working full time as a real estate agent in the vegas area, was a force to be reckoned with to say the least / expectations were always high and punishments for not meeting them even higher, because everyone was always watching / this made mason both diligent and paranoid, taking on his mom’s tendency to assume that everyone around him was always judging and critiquing his every move / he was never the quickest learner in school, never the best at sports or model un or whatever he put himself into, but his perceived mediocrity only made him work harder to try and measure up / he ended up deciding to go to uc berkeley for college, but the transition was really hard on him and harder on his mom, who sort of went crazy with an empty nest and no one to micromanage / still, mason got close with a childhood friend and old flame from vegas who also went to berkley, latching onto her for stability and companionship when he had none / on a whim, mason decided to propose to her during their sophomore year after just over a year of dating and she... surprisingly said yes / he made a little life for himself at berkeley, graduated with a degree in business, got a job and a little house with his wifey, and everything seemed pretty great / and then.. it wasn’t. nothing dramatic happened, the two just drifted apart, and she sprung the divorce papers on him about a year and a half ago, after three years of being married / now, he’s retreated back to vegas with his tail between his legs, getting a job that he has no idea how to do because his mom just gave him it, trying to figure out where to go from here / he’s doing great! seriously! 

needs ⋆⋆⋆ now that i’ve written a novel! i’m going to put up a couple requests (hopefully) for him so stay tuned for those!! but generally, he needs his family. i haven’t figured out any specifics but they’re basically the typical all-american family, all probably college educated and hiding their own battles from the world (whether they do it successfully or not is... up for debate lmao). now that he’s a little lost and confused i’m sure mason is trying really hard to reconnect (or connect in the first place) with his family in hopes that it’ll help him gain some footing. also maybe his parents are getting a divorce! idk! 

for friends, i’m really imagining his upbringing sort of like big little lies (minus the murder) with a bunch of mom friends/frenemies and their kids hanging out because their moms wanted them to, being weirdly competitive over everything in school, knowing all of each other’s family secrets because they eavesdropped during boozy brunch at ms. jenna’s house or wtfever. 

aaaaand obviously if someone wants to make his ex-wife go for it! this isn’t really a romantic request but he’s #struggling pretty hard and if she’s around would probably be That Bitch and go to her just for something familiar. i also think it would be fun & dramatic & angsty for them to try and work through their problems and try to be civil slash friendly because, hey, they were friends once! and they know each other better than anyone else so they’d be good friends for each other to have!

the word angst doesn’t even come close to explain this guy / his personality is literally all over the place / some days he’ll be super chill and easy to get along with / other days he’ll be a huge prick to everyone he comes into contact with / he bartends in a sleazy bar because he doesn’t know what else to do with his life / he has 0% ambition in life / he’s got a great group of friends who help keep him sane / kind of miracle he still has any friends / the hendricks come from very little money / sawyer worked a number of jobs over the years to help bring in money / there were some nights he went to bed hungry / parents are in and out of the picture / he’d kill for his siblings / give him liquor or give him death

needs: he has wronged so many women in the past. please throw some this way. maybe a current thing too if anyone is desperate. he’s the worst boyfriend and pretty much gives zero shits about keeping up with a relationship. other people who work at the same bar as him would be fantastic too. if anyone needs a fam to throw their char in, the hendricks are pretty much the gallaghers from shameless.

@/hellastella started as a simple youtube channel focusing on helping anyone interested in makeup or fashion, find the best and better brands and ways to achieve these looks for half of the cost. not just focusing on females, but any gender facing the same societal woes. she’s far from perfect but her earnest interest in wanting other to feel good about themselves and relating to people propelled the small channel into youtube stardom. 

stella nam was born in south korea before moving to los angeles when she was young. she adapted to the different culture pretty quickly and she has her friends and her own outgoing personality to thank for that. she was never the best when it came to school, but she was an ace when it came to creativity and daydreaming.

stella needs friends and lots of them! she’s lived in las vegas for over four years now. if there is anyone else from la and wants to be a school friend, i’d be fine with that. she’s taking business classes now so it’s possible that she has acquaintances and friends attending university/college. she doesn’t take it as seriously as she should so friends that scold her would be nice lol. she’s fickle and wild, like an unpredictable child that needs supervision. she doesn’t always take serious situations serious and using sarcasm is a defense mechanism. she’s a good friend. maybe not as reliable because she tends to be selfish as well, but she’s loyal regardless. plenty of party friends, close knit friends, youtuber friends ( i have a req up on my blog )

stella needs lovers and probably a decent amount. lol. she’s free spirited when it comes to romance. again, doesn’t take it too seriously and that’s just a defense mechanism. she wants to avoid heartache just like everyone else so its lead to a lot of failed relationships and questionable situations where she comes out being a cheater but in her defense she’s never said she believes in monogamy. she’s young and restless, but lonely and deep down she wants a relationship that lets her be herself and keeps her on her toes. friends with benefits, one night stands, exes that are still friends or exes that hate her guts. 

stella needs roommates maybe 4-5. they probably live in some house in a decent area and it makes for a great bachelor/ette and party pad. they’re probably all social media influencers ( don’t need to be just youtube ) or involved with entertainment somehow. creative minds living together. anyone is welcome !

pretty as a flower but could slice through you with just one look / a big fan of the golden girls / might be a little insane because she actually enjoyed studying / boss lady / hermione granger if hermione granger was a sleepless startup founder / promised herself she would leave nevada forever, yet here she is, home again / sold her first startup for a pretty hefty price when she was only twenty-two / returned home after attempting a second successful business, which absolutely tanked and ate up most of the money from the first / snorts a little when she laughs / tries not to daydream, but almost always has her head in the clouds / eats a lot of cereal for dinner / honestly peaked in college, when she was a Proper Professional and kinda sorta happily married / can’t cook for her life / kind of a smartass and not in a quiet way / a master at raising one eyebrow in disbelief

willa needs everything!! maybe a sibling or two? they would probably have to be either adopted or half-siblings unless you use someone with courtney’s exact ethnic composition. also she definitely needs roommates, that hopefully drag her out of the house every once in a while. they’re probably her only friends. one of them has to know how to chef it up. also, maybe some childhood/hs friends that recognize her back in nevada so she can be embarrassed? ? ? as for romance, willow hasn’t really dated anyone seriously since she divorced mason!! yikes!!! she’s moved on, though. she swears. she’s just .. . .picky about her love life. i would love to have a kind of will they / won’t they where they’re kind of opposites and just annoy each other but ~develop feelings.

a really bad youtuber. an equally horrendous bottle service girl. is like on her third club of the past two years. you’ve probably seen her credited as girl #3 in the background of your now canceled television show. or from a music video of your d-list musician. she was featured for .34 seconds on mtv’s catfish bc her dumb ass was catfished. that’s basically her most famous role. went to la to do something with her life. somehow ended up in the dessert with a few z-list “acting” credits to her name. it’s fine. she’s probably surviving off a gofundme or patreon account. could probably be described through a list of old vines.

needs just about everything. especially family. in my head she has like a twin (or at least someone within a year of her age) brother that she’s especially close to. but i can’t think of other redheads so like feel free to have them look like madelaine in other ways.

coming at you hot and heavy is abraham albrecht! he’s twenty - four years old, a film student, las vegas native. one way to describe abe is he leaves parties with hickeys on his neck, his head in the clouds and a new poke - stick tattoo. he’s a very intense, in the moment type of person. though he thinks about the  future, he tends to just go with things in the moment regardless of if they are great ideas or not. he’s a bit of a temperamental asshole at times, and will let you know that he disagrees with you… and  he won’t sugar coat it either. he tells it like it is and if people have issue with that… then they can catch these hands (jk - but not really). he’s confident, and loud, and has like a billion friends tbh. but he’s also wildly creative and  likes to think outside of the box. he wants his films he makes to like inspire people and make  people think.

but there is  a big issue, because his father is the head producer of a porn company. and guess what~ his father wants him to take over the business because he’s the oldest sibling!! abe’s father is probably the only person abe doesn’t talk back too, and he just goes along  with what his father  wants because it’s easier than admitting he doesn’t wanna get into the  porn business. but, he also really likes the  party lifestyle of it all. he doesn’t shy away from the fact that’s what his family is associated with. the porn business has made his family pretty wealthy, and abe is one of those kids that likes to throw money at strippers when he’s sad :’)

meet bandit. he’s lived here all his life and currently works at the las vegas humane society as an adoption counselor. he volunteered as a teenager and just never left. bandit currently has four dogs, three cats, and fosters a few dogs at any given time - i know, he’s insane. but he loves animals so much and you can bet your bottom dollar that he’ll persuade you to adopt a dog from him. he’s just that good at his job.

bandit was born to young heiress april arlington of the arlington corporation and subsidiaries. april knew in her heart she had born in the wrong decade - a hippie through and through. that’s why bandit and his two other siblings have weird names like daffodil and blessed. she says she named him bandit because he was a thief who stole her heart. april ran away from her family at the ripe age of nineteen and lived as a las vegas showgirl until she was too old to do the splits.

little bits about bandit:

gets up at 6am every morning, goes to the same coffeehouse every morning, listens to the beatles every morning, and leaves for work at exactly 7:27am every morning.

visits the hell’s kitchen more times than he’s willing to admit and complained about the food so he could see gordon ramsay rip the chef a new one.

has an extensive zippo lighter collection. everytime he goes on a road trip, he buys one at a local gas station and sharpies it with the location and date.

so passionate about his job and loves what he does but every now and then he breaks down and cries over the animals that don’t get adopted.

the person to go to when you need to cry or vent. hugs always available along with some hot coffee and and an oversized sweater.
