He goes by he/him but not quite in the male identifying way, instead he goes by this in the same way one may refer to God. I personally struggle to think of a male when I think of God, I don't think it's anything like that, but yet he is still known as a he. This character sees itself as similar. ... .. But why ? That seems egotistical no? This is the fun part; he created himself. Over a very long period of time he brought himself up from a tiny homunculus to the huge body you see above. He was not made in a typical way at all, far from it; he built himself up over years and years; he is his own creator.
