Delivery For... (Open)
Living in a large city was often hard at times. More people, well actually more like more humans to look out for. Keeping ones identity could be difficult in this new time of age. Though, with this newer time came ignorance. Something that many non humans are relieved about. The belief in the supernatural and the other worldly was laughable to the humans. So maybe in a way, living in this time was actually much easier. But with it came strict rules to keep their identities safe. Even though many of them could easily kill a human, they were no match for human technology and weaponry and they were easily out numbered. Feet dangled over the edge of a high rise Hotel. Sitting on the edge he leaned back slightly. Breathing in slowly through his nose, Matthew closed his eyes as he arched his face to the night sky. He tried to ignore the pungent smell of car exhaust and the odd smells that the city accumulated. Even in his more humanoid form, his sense of smell was still top notch. He was more focused on the light cool breeze that drifted along the roof tops of the tall buildings. A hand came down to lightly hold the bag that was against his side. He was a messenger. A deliverer. It was his job among the monster population and he was good at it. Being able to hide among humans, his unnatural speed and agility all came in handy for such a job. He loved jumping along the roof tops, leaping from fire escapes, climbing walls like some parkour expert. Working at night time made his easy for him to travel unnoticed. The worst that could happen was that he would catch the corner of someone's eye. But by the time they took a second look, he would've been long gone. Sighing, he stood up from his spot. He was completely unaffected by how close his feet were from the edge. Walking over to the center of the roof, he rummaged through his pocket and pulled out his wallet. Opening it, he pulled out two pieces of paper. One was a ticket for his ration of human meat. These tickets were only given to those who needed to eat humans. Normally the humans used were escaped convicts, amputated limbs from the hospital, missing bodies, etc. The other piece of paper was the address of where he had to deliver the package. Giving it a once over, he ran off into the direction of his last delivery.
