glxwcloud. Nebula was nervously pacing around the small exterior of their condo which was now covered in party ballons and decorations. Your character has passed away, and my character is having trouble coping, so they keep calling your muse's old cellphone. Send me ◘ for the last voicemail my character left
“Hey, Nebula. It’s Pamela again. You know, it’s sort of strange not having the Glow Cloud--ALL HAIL--in town anymore.” Pamela sighed. It didn’t feel the same as before. “I have to add the ‘all hail’ of my own volition now. Anyway, Night Vale has felt sort of empty without the occasional rain of dead animals. Apparently the mourning period hasn’t lasted that long for anyone else despite my thrice daily emergency press conferences about how much I miss you. I guess grief doesn’t spread as quickly as, say, throat spiders.
“On another note, remember when we first met? You know, when you offered to teach me death-based magic? I’ve been reading into that more again. It’s been a while, but I’m trying to find a necromancy ritual that could actually resurrect someone. I don’t know if one exists, but who knows? Maybe one of these days, you’ll be able to listen to this message. It wouldn’t be very relevant then, would it? I’ll see you later one way or another, I guess.”

Basma was having fun playing with the littler glow cloud. At the beginning it was just to piss off Nebula, but Hodai was beginning to grow on them. Plus Hodai kept sneaking out when Nebula wasn’t look at they thought that was amazing.

Pamela couldn’t believe it had happened. The Sheriff’s Secret Police never arrested the right people! So why had it happened this time? The cells around them contained either nobody or innocent suspects, annoyed at having been captured. The cell she shared with her co-conspirator was neither.
“To our credit, it took them long enough to figure it out,” she muttered as she looked back at Nebula. “It would have been better if they had stayed clueless. Better if they never questioned either of our actions.”

Pamela looked down at her wrist, one of many anxious glances she had given it lately. The numbers had been on a steady, worrying decline for days. Granted, they had always been decreasing but now they were low. She’d had so much more time than other people her age, but those years had gone by. Now, at this moment, they dropped to zero.
She looked up at the person most directly in front of her, the one who must have been the cause of the numbers hitting their ultimate low point. Though she was fully aware of what this meant, she looked around at anyone else who may have been nearby. Just to be sure. She wouldn’t want a major part of her life to have been determined by an error, after all. She eventually gave up and looked at the one in front of her again, trying to catch a glimpse of that person(?)’s wrist without even asking them to check for themselves.
