She’d be lying if she said she was actually paying attention to any of the actual content in the story he was reading, she’d always prefered the just focus on his voice itself. It was easy too his voice was so gentle and warm, inviting her to just rest her head on his chest and relax. Today she was even starting to doze off, she was sure he wouldn’t mind though. He had their young children to entertain after all, assuming they hadn’t fallen asleep themselves.

“I’m fine, Canaan, seriously.” Ally found it hard to sit still as he fussed over the decently sized scratches and cuts she had on her back from being knocked back into a glass window. “I don’t think there’s any glass stuck in my skin.”
"You mind telling me what the fuck this is?" In his hand was a magazine, fairly pristine as if he barely peered through it. Wasn't long before he bent its spine, the cover forward facing and in plain view. His sense of entitlement was odd to say the least, but it was obvious by his cold stare that it was entirely genuine; despite being directed at this almost complete stranger.
“That’s something we like to call a magazine,” Ally replied almost instantaneously, the rather sudden appearance of a mad Canaan not hindering her quipping skills. She looked at the article he turned too and she rolled her eyes. “Why do they think this stuff is entertaining to people? I’d be mad too if I paid money for that and all I got was an article about me and how my sorority held one of our charity functions at the tower.”

Who’s the first to wake up in the morning: Canaan CanAAN CANAAN. Altho sometimes Gabe just.. wakes up in the middle of the night becuase of bad dreams.
Who’s the one to make breakfast: Neither of them really eat, but I guess Gabe would probably be the one to try it. Altho I doubt it would end well.
Who’s the one to serve the other breakfast in bed: GABE! (altho see above)
Who would suggest a quickie in the morning before work: It would probably just sort of happen naturally, a lot.
Who suggests they both ditch work to lay around all day: Neither of them have jobs, but Gabe’s probably the one who says they should spend the day in bed the most.
Who chooses the movies: THE KIDS
Who initiates kissing during the moving, thus distracting the other from the movie all together: I doubt they watch movies without their kids tbh, probably not a lot of kissing.
Who orders lunch: Canaan would, Gabe’s probably too nervous to speak.
Who steals food from the other’s plate without asking: Gabe would probably just eat whatever Canaan does anyway.
Who curls up next to the other and falls asleep due to a full tummy: This is so hard to imagine neither of them really eat I am suffering. Gabe would I guess be the more likely one tho.
Who distracts the other from trying to work at home: GABE GABE GABE
Who asks to go get ice cream like a five year old: Gabe probably, because I don’t think he’s ever actually had ice cream tbh.
Who takes pictures of their partner eating ice cream: Gabe, probably.

Who stays up until 2 reading: Canaan probably, altho Gabe would probably have him read whatever it was to him.
Who stares at their partner while their sleeping: Both of them probably.
Who kisses their partner while they sleep: bOTH OF THEM, BIG GAYS THAT THEY ARE. Altho Canaan would get more of a chance to given that Gabe sleeps more.
