frankly, i want people to acknowledge my gender. i want them to be confused about it. i want them to look at my presentation and get caught up. i want them to explicitly refer to me in a manner that seems like they have to put effort into working around it because god fuck you’re gonna fucking see me. i’ve spent too much of my life being fucking invisible and my god you’re gonna fucking see me.
