Random Character Topic: Hemospectrum
Do you wanna know what my characters feel like about the spectrum? Wanna know if they’ll try to kill someone of a certain blood? Look no further!
Hesuis: Ambivalent. Doesn’t support it, obviously, and doesn’t follow it in her own day to day life and beliefs, but won’t openly defy it. She’ll be extra respectful to highbloods, typically avoiding them, but has no issue with anyone solely because of their blood.
Mycili: Disregards it. They have no time to care about blood or a hierarchy. All trolls are equally annoying and they will try equally as hard to get them to leave them alone. Fungi eat all corpses. Why should they care any more than that?
Selean: Loyal. She follows the spectrum and respects it. This does not mean, however, she will be rude or disdainful towards lowbloods. She recognizes that they too serve an important role in society, but she fully believes that they are meant for certain menial roles and no higher except for very exceptional cases.
Kawa: Loyal in her own way. She doesn’t follow it per sae, but instead generally disregards lowbloods because of their lesser physical resilience. Since she’s at the top, it really makes no difference if she’s insulted by a rust or a purple. If someone doesn’t view her as royalty, she really doesn’t care. What does get to her, however, is trolls who appear to follow the spectrum closely, but refuse to give her proper respect due to her outlandish appearance and interests. If you’re going to follow all the customs and formalities, you’d better do it right.
