to celebrate, here in gangnam - there will be two things up for our members to enjoy about ! which not only are they halloween-themed, but these will also be our first task & event. below the cut is where you will find the information about them. also, please don’t forget to like this post so we know you have given this a read. have fun, everyone !

👻✨ GANGNAMHQ'S HALLOWEEN-THEMED TASK !

while it is true that halloween is a festive season widely known across the world, that doesn’t mean it is one enjoyed by everybody. through this task, we will learn and explore more about your characters and their thoughts on halloween. in order to achieve that, there will be a list of questions you must answer. although not compulsory, you may also include edits of your characters, whether it is moodboard, aesthetics, or them in their this year’s halloween costume - the choice is yours ! now for the questions :

🧛🎉 GANGNAMHQ’S HALLOWEEN EVENT(S) !

when it comes to the halloween season, there are two events in gangnam that everyone looks forward to every year. first being SCARLETT’S HALLOWEEN PARTY & another being THE ANNUAL HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL, the one and only carnival to be held in gangnam. below will be the information for each event. please look through them if wished to participate.

01. SCARLETT’S HALLOWEEN PARTY !

DATE & TIME : 31st of October, 9PM-4AM.

LOCATION : SCARLETT NIGHTCLUB ( managed by clement ang ).

COVER CHARGES : free for VIPs, 20,000 ₩ ( early birds ), 30,000  ₩ ( others ).

DRESSCODE : your choice of halloween costume or any party outfit.

SPECIALS OF THE NIGHT : best costume award, challenges on stage for free drinks, famous djs, entertainers & performers as special guests.

SERVICES : valets and paid drivers.

02. THE ANNUAL HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL

DATE & TIME : 31st of October, 6PM - 2AM.

LOCATION : ilseong street, gangnam.

ATTRACTIONS : haunted house (!!), bumper cars, teacups ride, pirate ship ride, circus show, game stalls, kissing booth, photo booth & tricks or treats event.

FOOD : carnival snacks, fast food stands, ice cream stand, popcorn and cotton candy machines & halloween special treats.

MUN’S NOTE.

i should apologize for this right now before i start explaining things ! for those who have noticed, i haven’t even done the second task yet before i even decided that i wanted to do this task when i saw it was posted so i honestly am a mess at the moment but i actually have thought about this task for a while ! and yes, these are all kpop songs because i honestly found that these fit more to sejun’s style, music-wise and so on. 

so the lyric above that i chose was from agust d and is what i want this playlist to represent is sejun’s personality; his narcissistic, work-driven, foul-minded, and all around bad intentions because i feel like it would be easier to explain how horrible im sejun is through songs instead of words. feel so good, agust d, sober, and super fly all represent his ‘god-like’ tendencies whether it be his successful job that he inherited from his father, his income, his social lifestyle, his drinking habits, and how he views himself; these are all key points in sejun’s life, other than his work, that are of value to himself and common things he flaunts to other people or beggars how he would call them. sour grapes is his current favorite song at the moment because he prefers more rap and hip-hop over any other genre and considers san e to be one of his favorite rappers. playboy and pretty boy basically explains his sex life and how he values his looks because all he really does is fix his hair in the free time or work out so these songs are generally ones i found that help explain how dependent he is on his looks because that’s what gets him places, either with work or with bedding people. all i wanna do and selfish and beautiful girl describes his romantic, or platonic turned romantic, relationships with people. jiyoo, hyeona, jamie, dain, basically everyone that he’s ever slept with first turned out as harmless fun but when delved deeper throughout the years, pure drama and angst could only follow because that’s just who he is. he’s someone who creates mess and chaos from his significant other all because this male can’t keep it in his pants. and lastly, i want to explain nosedive as his downfall. it hasn’t particularly happen yet but this is a song that would explain him coming to terms that he isn’t a good person. this would also help explain his father who is exactly like him, who turned out like poison and couldn’t quite grasp his youth but sejun will soon realize that money isn’t everything and also realize all the mistakes that he’s made along the way, with friendships, relationships, work, everything. that one day that he just might give up to the point where he just might up and ... disappear.

to be completely honest i had -3429 idea where i was going with this. simply put inwoo doesn’t actually listen to a lot of music, he’s the type to stumble upon a song on the radio and put it in a playlist and never really think more about it. inwoo, before he turned into a depressed lil shit, was in my mind always sort of carefree and simple; and the “feel-good” sound of this playlist is supposed to re-create the feeling inwoo is for me. ( though the lyrics of certain of these songs, maybe especially hyukoh’s, are a tiny bit dark, the overall feeling of the song stays the same. ) sort of .. a summer’s day kinda feel is what he is for me if that even makes sense wtf.
