Go Chic! - ‘What She Wants’
For a moment it looks like ‘What She Wants’ might be heading in that most in-vogue of directions, deep house. This thought has sand poured over it by guitar licks evoking their Nile Rodgers-fronted namesakes, before it is well and truly buried as the vocals kick in and Go Chic!’s true electropop colours shine through. File under ‘Should win Eurovision from now until forever’.

Go Chic just announced that, "Due to band members' health concerns, we sincerely apologize for the canceling of SXSW and US tour dates. We thank each of you for your amazing love , support and understanding. And hopefully meet you soon." They were supposed to play in Los Angeles last night, and take part in the Taiwan band showcase on Saturday. I'm not sure if they played the L.A. gig. Of course, the showcase will proceed, and maybe the 4 remaining bands will play slightly longer sets than was originally planned. (30 minutes). Certainly won't be a problem for Bugs of Phonon, you'll see why in the next post...
