unpop opinion: lots of people hate miley cyrus but she seems cool?? like she's a huge feminist and she has an organization dedicated to trans kids (I think) and same with nicki minaj like she's so supportive and yeah sure she can be a little explicit at times and I don't like her music that much but she seems like a really chill person

i used to adore her in the hannah montana days bc obviously i was a young girl and they were like queen. and then when they started to get slightly explicit my mom banned me from watching them or having anything to do with them, so for the longest time i didn’t like them just because i was taught to not, but now that i’m older i really really respect them as a person and for all the things they’ve done for other people. same with nicki.
