Quite frankly, the grumpiest Hufflepuff you'll ever meet.
Sebastian theorizes that wind blew on Cassian's face one day when he was angry, and that's why he's got a permanent scowl.

Year and Backstory:
Currently a 6th year Hufflepuff, he transferred from Beauxbatons on his 5th, mentored by the late Professor Fig in order to help him "adjust." Cassian isn't the friendliest... when tasked to communicate, he often prefers to do it by grunting or gestures — should those fail, he has been observed to stare ominously until the person figures it out. That, or he accios them by their clothes and hauls them towards whatever needs to be done.
Many still do not think he belongs in the house, simply because he is always hostile. Cassian is not shy regarding hexing. He will hex at the slightest of inconveniences. (Or if you breathe too near him..) Regardless of this, close associates of Harriot insists it was the right call.
Cassian is the middle child out of three. His sister, Eleanour (7th year), remains in Beauxbatons with their youngest brother Atone, who is in his 2nd year.
Blood status:
The Harriots are known throughout Europe as one of the more distinguished Pure-blood families. They carry great power, often having affinity for Transfiguration. In Britain, the Harriots have great influence in the Wizengamot, as well as Ministry affairs in general. They are highly regarded, and just the mention of the name should make one hesitate.
Despite their power and reach, every first-born male of the Harriots never seemed to make it past adolescence. The oldest recorded being 25 at the time of his death. Wizards theorize it may be a curse, or perhaps exceptionally bad luck. The Harriots dare not comment on these rumours, however.
Cassian does not seem to care much about his blood status either. He treats both Muggle-borns, Half-bloods, and Pure-bloods with equal prejudice.
Favourite/least favourite subjects:
Cassian heavily favours DADA and Herbology.
DADA for obvious reasons and Herbology because plants do not pester him. He can often be found in the greenhouses during free periods tending to the fauna. There is a rumour floating about that whilst he's checking on a Venomous Tentacula, he actually stopped scowling for a second. There has been no proof of this, however.
Cassian feels indifferent about the other subjects – that is to say, he does dislike them to some degree but mostly views them as something he has to tolerate and is willing to do so. He does, however, have little patience for the History of Magic with Binns. He feels even more numb when he hears Binns droning...
hobbies/what do they do in their free time:
Cassian spends most of his free time avoiding Sallow. The Plague, as he calls him.
Other than that, he's usually off school grounds. He prefers the outdoors as opposed to stuffy walls, so he makes an effort to haul himself off bed to wander the surrounding hamlets or the Forbidden forest. He occasionally hunts when it's the appropriate season and ensures every part of the creature is honoured, from hide to gallbladder — not one part goes to waste.
That being said, he loathes poachers and makes a point to add, trashing their camp into his routine when he finds one. Suppose he considers that his hobby.
He also plays a handful of instruments, though he never lets anyone hear. Bloke has a scary sixth sense and knows when someone might be in earshot.
Also, Cassian really doesn't get Zonkos. He's trying...merlin, but he just...he can't..?
