I just watched a clip of Loose Women this afternoon and I was appalled at how they deliberately provoked and antagonised Kim Woodburn for ratings and clicks.

Kim Woodburn is a survivor of child abuse and has what I am sure are complex mental health issues. The pannelists would have been aware and so would have the producers. It is therefore absolutely abhorrent that she would be goaded and prodded by the panel into an explosive row and made into a national laughing stock.

Those who suffer with mental health issues and those of who are survivors of any formof abuse should NEVER be made to endure something as humiliating as what Kim was subjected to today (and on Celebrity Big Brother). No doubt somebody thought that having Kim go into a meltdown would make for good ratings and clicks online.

THIS IS NOT ENTERTAINMENT- IT IS ABUSE.

When Kim removes herself from the situation, you can clearly see one panellist (Janet Street-Porter) laughing and another (Coleen Nolan) smirking to herself proudly. Suffice to say that everybody involved in today's disgusting and reprehensible bullying and goading (because that is what it is) should be ashamed of themselves and have shown themselves to be nothing but vile and dispicable bullies.

Out of respect for Kim, I am not going to leave a link to the segment but is already available on YouTube (no doubt for everybody to have a good laugh at a mentally ill lady).

OTTAWA — The Trudeau government plans to give about 900,000 Canadian workers more paid personal-leave days, in a proposal that seems designed to goad the Ontario government into an argument over workers’ rights in the modern economy.

The change is part of a sweeping set of proposed Canada Labour Code amendments put forward this week by the federal Liberals in their 850-page budget bill.
