Goa came from the far reaches of wild space with the rest of his kind the Lethagoe and Kalai. His mother is a Kalai while his father, Jun Conhan, is human. He was raised and lived with his kind until he was kidnapped at age 5, by a smuggler who didn't fall victim to the Kalai's memory wipe.
Goa was sold into slavery, but thankfully not alone as three Twe'lik women watched over him during that time. Sold off to a young Hutt on Tatooine and mistaken for being a human being, he was tossed into the Hutt's work camp for humans. There he suffered abuse from the xenophobic members of the slave camp. Between the daily abuse and slave work Goa managed to scratch out a living on his on. His connection to the Kalai was what kept him going, in hopes that they would find him.
He was only seven years old when he participated in his first slave revolt, which unfortunately failed. Goa was tossed under the bus by the others when captured and suffered through the punishment awake. While the medical staff severed the nerves for him to hear he severed his own connection to the Kalai unknowingly.
He struggled for a few more years until he was rescued by Brocmil during the second slave revolt, while their start off was rocky they eventually became a Bounty Hunting team. During that time Goa was taught Basic and some other educational things, though it was mostly focused on practicality rather than a well rounded education. During their time working jobs, Goa was suggested to try for the Academy of Intelligence by an Officer they were working for. While Brocmil feared the idea, Goa made the choice to join.
Goa barely passed to enter the Academy but he found training to be a breeze. Thankfully he got some help from a fellow cadet that he saved during training. Both Goa and Kennith exchanged knowledge and managed to help each other out so they could both graduate.
Goa held the title Agent for about a month before he became Cipher 14. Between missions though he's still looking for where he came from.
Goa is a quiet and watchful kind of person. Unlike others he's weary of new people to the point that he feels better keeping them on edge by intimidation than being friendly to them. Granted once he knows the other's intentions he tends to relax, though there have been incidences where he's been submissive from the get go.
He's a practical person who rather keep busy messing with things even if he can't fix what he's broken. Boredom is the enemy to Goa and if he can't sleep or drink it off he'll go looking for something to do. He's not afraid to go looking for a fight nor is his worried about killing anyone. One sure way to anger him is to strike him for no reason or to strike anything that he's possessive of.
With the proper person though Goa can relax, smile and nuzzle them as he pleases before falling asleep on them. Naturally curious and a bit too independent he is a box of surprises.
Mentally speaking Goa isn't the soundest person. Not only is he prone to paranoia if his hearing aids shut off, but also suffers from the occasional voice in his head. Thanks to his childhood surrounded by people who hated him for being an alien, he forces himself to appear human through his own abilities to the point that he doesn't want to look at his real face.
