Rufus wants to touch Goal all over if she'll let him - He'll start with her hair, and let his hand trail down, past her ear, boop her nose, down her cheek... He'll pull her close by the waist and then do that obnoxious eyebrow waggle thing while his hands accidentally slip onto her butt because of course they do. Since he'd like to keep his fingers though, he won't let them linger there and instead reaches for her hands to hold her lightly by the wrists, unsure of whether or not to keep going-

Hair: Yearning Ear: "I want you to hear me out." Nose: "You're so cute." Cheek: "I want to tell you I love you."/Deep affection/Devotion Waist: Possessiveness/"You are mine." Butt: Sexual attractiveness/lust Wrist: Fear of losing you

A multitude of feelings surges through Goal. Having Rufus so close is both exciting and ... well ... there’s this rather intense smell ... But if she’s honest she prefers that to Cletus’ somewhat antiseptic aura.

Rufus’ touch on the other hand is very intense and makes her heart flutter. She’s very tempted to reciprocate in kind, but out of the corner of her eye she notices Doc staring at them (or does he? It’s not all that easy to tell where he’s looking most of the time).

With a grin she withdraws from Rufus’ grasp and winks at him. “Awful timing as always, mister. But maybe we can continue that ‘conversation’ later.”

So this weekend I’ve got a comic convention, and because I’m not done with all my Rufus parts, I’m more or less going as a closet cosplay Rufus. Which is fine. One of my friends is going as a closet cosplay Goal. We’ll match.

But here’s the problem. My friend decided to do what he thought was a unique cosplay twist to Goal on the idea of “if she stayed on Deponia a while.” And he’d seen a few screencaps of Goal in Doomsday and got a wig that’s perfect for Doomsday. And his whole ensemble reminds me of the fucking final scene of Doomsday with Goal going off on Deponia alone.

BUT MY FRIEND HAS ONLY PLAYED THE FIRST GAME AND PART OF THE SECOND. SO! I cannot tell him he’s totally cosplaying a dead-on accurate Future Goal. And even more frustrating. He thinks that his version of Goal is compatible with my Rufus cosplay. I can’t make “I’m dead” jokes THE ENTIRE CONVENTION because I can’t spoil him.

And I think not making dead!Rufus jokes the entire weekend is going to be one of the biggest trials of my life.
