Teflam or tirphal is another strong souring agent used in fish curry preparations. It is a lemon flavoured berry which is dried and used in curries. It is a type of Sichuan/ Szechuan pepper. A little goes a long way.. I like to use 2-3 in some Goan fish (generally mackerel) curries. It reminds me of the authentic Goan Hindu fish thalis you get in Goa for lunch. Have you used Teflam before? Let me know. #deliciouscravingsatvaniaskitchen #goancurry #goanfishthali #goanfishcurry #goanfood #goanfoodblogger #foodbloggersofinstagram #goanfoodbloggers #goanfoodies #goanfoodblog #londonfoodblogger #indianfood #indianfoodbloggers #goanfoodlovers #eatcaptureshare #spicesofindia #indianspices #indianfood #indianfoodie (at London, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CGFCycqlscJ/?igshid=gkl9gbw4ity
