I love your blog to start out with. I have been a vegan almost 10 years. I have seen quite a few teens ask for help. And I know a couple of books that helped me where Generation V and Vegan Freak. My parents even read Vegan freak to help understand.

I just wrapped one of my dreads, and I am really afraid that it's going to get dread rot. It seems that it stays wet longer than my other dreads. Any advice?

If you used hemp or yarn, it will stay wet longer than if you used embroidery floss. You can palm roll the wrapped dread just like you would your dreads. Also, give the threadlock an extra squeeze after washing to wring out the water.

Just make sure that you keep it clean and that it has enough time to dry before your next wash!
